I am not a big blogger, but wanted to quickly write to say we had a fantastic trip on the Dream, March 6-10! I was a little nervous after reading so many reviews before the trip! A quick summary.... Day of arrival, very smooth. 40 minutes from being dropped off to being on the boat! Couldn't complain! We stayed in an inside stateroom with 3 people and it was fine. My daughter loved the port hole. On the first day, we came back to find cookies in our room with a note and pins that we were selected to be "Magical Moment" cruisers and to expect surprises! The next day was cheese and crackers, the next day was a letter that our Castaway Cay package was comped (the snorkle, bike, tube rental) and the last night a guest service attendant came to dinner to give my daughter a Pluto stuff animal! It was very nice surprise and made us feel very special! The only cons I could find were the pools of course! You just can't fit 1000 kids into a pool the size of a hot tub. It actually got a little dangerous with kids jumping in and not being careful. The cruise was full and yes chairs were not to be found, but I just moved towels that looked like had been there for a while without activity. The only other con was I wish the fire works on Pirate night were a little earlier. 10:30pm is just so late for the little ones. Esp. when they are on their 3rd night of late nights! The kids club was ok. My daughter only went once. It is a kid's cruise and didn't really find it necessary for her to be in there. There was tons to do on the ship! The shows were great, dinner were great, servers were great! Last day, check out was easy too! Off the boat by 9am and at SeaWorld by 10:30am. I just wanted to let everyone know that I felt the Dream was fantastic and well worth it and can't wait to plan our trip on the Fantasy!

I understand that fireworks might be a little late for some little ones but can't really schedule it any earlier as it's tough enough now to complete late seating dinner and get there in time to see the party and fireworks. Even then, we don't usually get a great view of the party stuff. Which is okay now since I've seen it a number of times but definitely would not want to miss the fireworks.

I am so glad that you and your family enjoyed the Dream. My son and I were given pixie dust from the Chef in Tritons, on the Wonder it was so nice to be acknowledged as the family in the dining room. I guess that’s what they call it. We were sent fruit trays to our cabin and the chef also cooked special meals for us throughout the cruise, he would come and speak with us nightly. On the last night of the cruise the chef came out with a certificate and a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal wearing a chef outfit. I was so ecstatic that this happened I just figured this could only happen to traditional families, since it is just my son and I. The pixie dust made our cruise that more special. Can’t wait to sail the Dream in September!

PS I loved how you politely moved the towels off of unused chairs:worship:; this is the only way that we will cut down on the CHOGS!
