Disney Dream - June 9, 2013 - 4 night

If we start surpassing 20 cabins we can make a group decision on splitting up if need be. If you need kids names, perhaps folks can personal message you of they don't want to post that information?

Thanks again for organizing this. That's a great idea. Our daughter's name is Charlotte. She is 8 and has a severe dairy allergy. I'm Lizzie and my husband is Jeff. We're not kids, but frequently act like them.

My booking window opened today. While I wasn't able to get a cabana on Castaway Cay, I did get a Palo reservation! I also booked a couples massage foe my wife and her BFF.

Booking these things makes the trip feel very real to me. I'm getting excited.....

Sounds like you just scored some Brownie points!

I'm excited that our FE list is growing, but a tentative plan to split into two groups should the group get too large is a good one. A message I read somewhere (who knows where at this point) said that they had a group of 50 people. That's a tad scary. I know shorter cruises tend to have a smaller group.

As for excursions ... my mom wanted the chocolate tour in Nassau that's listed when you go through the main area (not our booking area). It wasn't one of our options in Nassau. Any clues? If something is sold out will they take it off the site? I'm going to make her call Disney since she's retired and I'm working 12 hour days right now, but I was curious to see if a waiting list is generally available if an excursion is sold out.

I've booked bottom fishing for the Papas. Anyone known anyone who has done that? As for my family, I spent a whopping $6 to rent a float. Of course, there are plans afoot for a water trike race between the grandparents and the kid once we get to Castaway Cay. I don't think that's going to be pretty for anyone.

It does seem really close now. Now if I can get these yearbook proofs done, teach some AP literature and survive another end of the school year and senioritis. Come on summer! (And I never use exclamation marks.)

Hi all! We are excited for our cruise. Have a 16 yr old girl (she'll be turning sweet sixteen while we are on cruise), 6 yr old boy and 2 almost 3 year old girl. Interested in a fish extender group, cuz I just figure out what this was after seeing them on sale at Etsy! Buying ours today.

Great, welcome aboard. If you could let me know your cabin number I will add you all to the list. Can I assume two adults in the cabin as well?

Happy Easter from the Happiest Place on Earth! I keep looking in Disney gift shops for extra FE items! dde04!

OUr cabin number is 7144, yes two adults! Would it be inappropriate to ask for kids names for personalized gifts?

In addition to FE, is anyone organizing an on-board meet of everyone, like during one of the deck parties? My brother and his wife did this on their first cruise 2 years ago and loved it. Oh, and is anyone going to WDW after the cruise?

I think we have had a couple of requests and we suggested personal messages to the folks requesting. Maybe we should get those requests all out together so folks can reply.

Did you find anything out about the chocolate tour?

I don't have a problem listing first names here for myself and the kids. The names will be on magnets and the FE anyway... I am Betsy, Gracie is the 16 yr old niece and Lora is the almost 11 yr old niece.

And we are going to universal before our cruise and WDW for a couple days after the cruise.

Betsy in IN

We are going before.

Has anyone done the sports simulators? Thinking of signing us up for a session during the Nassau port day.

Hi all, if you want to post your names, please do so. I am probably going to make a spreadsheet--am visual. If I can figure out how to attach it, I will. If I cannot and you want one, when I actually post enough messages, I'll type in my email and if you want one you can email me. Right now, I'm at 4 posts and need 10, so I may just randomly post things in the next few days. Rules, Rules Rules!

Betsy: We are going to Universal after. My son is a Harry Potter fanatic. I'm excited, too, must say, living vicariously. Would love to get together on cruise to see how you liked it.

I'm ok with posting our names as well. I'm Sharon. My husband is Ryan and the kiddo is Arwen.

RunnerMomO,
My mom (who is retired) finally called Disney twice, talked to four different people and found the tour. It conflicted with their already established tour, but she reserved three spots if someone in our group wanted to go. It sounds really interesting since you get a tour and make your own candy that you get to take home. It's at a bad time however (10:45 to 1:45) and it kind of interrupts our wandering and lunch time. I haven't decided if I'm going to take the tour or just wander over and take the smaller tour they offer in house. I can't find anyone on the board who has done the tour to tell me if it is worth it.

I was interested in the tour- love chocolate! What was the cost? Did they indicate why it wasn't on the website?
