Disney Dream - June 12, 2011

Hi Everyone!
My family and friends have been booked since day 1 and I can't believe I'm just now joining this cruise meet thread. We just returned from a trip to WDW, US, and IOA and I'm having HUGE withdrawls, so it's time to start thinking about next summer's vacation.

My family is in 2 cabins: DS17, DD17, and DS15 will be with my husband and me. Then I have friends in two other cabins. One cabin has 2 adults, DS15, and DS12. The other cabin will have 2 adults, DD16, and DS15.

All 3 of our families went on the 5 night Double Dip cruise on the Magic in September '08 and we can't wait to go on another Double Dip on the Disney Dream!!!

Looking forward to getting to know my fellow cruisers.

We are here and having a hard time waiting... but then we don't want to rush a good thing and have it come and go too quickly. We are one year away now and the countdown really begins!

That's so amazing to believe that its one year from today. Since we booked the first day that the cruises were released, this cruise has just always kinda been off in the distant horizon for me. Now, it does seem like its getting here (although we still have to get through a cruise in September and a trip to the parks in December before I can really focus on this cruise being next). So very exciting, though.

It's so exciting to finally hit the one year mark!!!
Rose, you are right. This thread is very slow. Maybe now that we are counting down to less than one year, it will pick up.

My daughter & I came back recently from our WDW trip. We really had a good time! The only problem was that once I got back home, I felt I needed another vacation!! At least when I return from the cruise, I should be rested!

My husband and I just booked this trip and we are really excited. We were supposed to have gone on a Disney Cruise this past February but because of family issues we weren't able to go. Now, we are all ready and can't wait to set sail on the Disney Dream. This is our first Disney cruise, actually, our first cruise. We will be celebrating our 4th Anniversary, although, the real date is August 26th, but we didn't want to go on a cruise in August.

I'm looking forward to the posts regarding this cruise and hope that we can all get together on the cruise.

We have been busy planning the last minute cruise we booked last month for our DD as a surprise for her 13th birthday!!! She just found out yesterday at her party that she will be spending her 13th birthday on Castaway Cay! She is so excited!
We are also booked on the maiden voyage of the DREAM in Jan, so this cruise is just too far out for us at the moment. This will be Disney cruise #8 for us (unless I pop up and book another one between ).
I will have to give everyone the update on the DREAM when we return in Jan!!!

That is going to be sooooo amazing - I can't wait to read all of the details! We are hoping to get on the maiden voyage of the Fantasy, but that's a looonnggg way away - LOL.

We just booked this cruise. we are in a gty cabin. Mike here and dw is Eileen. this will be our 5th cruise. looks like we have a lot of catching up to do will be reading past postings all weekend.

I haven't been on the DIS for a while, and just realized I missed our 1 year mark! That's okay, because now I can say that we will be on our first ever cruise in less than a year!!!

Bad news though, Dmom will not be able to go with us afterall, so it will be just me, DH, and DD. What will we do with all the extra closet space?

Our family has done two Disney cruises, both three nights. We are scheduled for this one although our kids (girls who will be 9 and 11 at the time) do not know it yet! My father just took us on an RCCL, the kids liked it but really missed Disney! My wife and I are sooooo excited to get back to Castaway Cay after Labadee!
