Idea #3
Something very simple like the C2D2 Cruise (Castaway Cay Double Dip). This could go with the graphic DMMom worked up earlier -- it just gives us a slightly different name from any other cruise meet groups that might use the double dip idea.

It will be the last weekend of Star Wars Weekends at DHS when we embark on the 12th. We went last year and it was more than awesome! I thought a cool theme would be "C2D2" meaning "Castaway Cay Double Dip", playing off of R2D2 from Star Wars. We could come up with some sort of graphic of R2D2 in a grass skirt and coconut bra or something.

I like the C2D2 Idea!! then we can use a tag line of something like...."May the Dream be with you"? Or "Use the Dream, Donald"? "Donald, I am your father ~ Walt" I dunno, I am sure there are other well known lines from the movie that I am forgetting that we could doctor up! Cute Idea!!!!

I wasn't even thinking of Star Wars when I first suggested C2D2 -- but it does fit nicely. (And my boys might disown me if they knew I missed such an obvious connection.)

It's fun to see everyone jumping in on each other's ideas. Keep 'em coming.

Hello Fellow Cruisers!

I am in need of some pixie dust!!!!!!!

My reservation is all messed up!!! We initially booked this cruise on our last cruise. We did not tell them to transfer this to another travel agent, but some how, one is tagged to our ressie. In November, I called and switched the cruise to this one. Talked with Hector and he even let me pick the rooms I wanted. (If I had a travel agent on the ressie, he shouldn't have been able to do that, right? I should have had to call this agent I don't know) Anyway, he never sent us a hard copy. When Steve called to link his brother's ressie with our's, he asked for a hard copy, which we got, but didn't look at very closely. They don't have us booked in 7689 and 7690, but in 5184 and 10545! Not even CLOSE to the same deck! I mean, had it been on the same deck and side-by-side/across the hall, I might be okay with that, but this is terrible! I can't have the kids on a different deck! AND because we supposedly transferred our ressie to the agent, DCL says they can't change it. Huh? SO, now I am hoping that the supervisor I talked to can get it straightened out. I am so bummed...I am guessing the rooms we wanted will be gone...which on one hand is not a big deal, but that is what we wanted. So send me some pixie dust so we can get this straightened out without spending too much more money! LOL I just don't see this working in my favor at this point!

First day of track and a new schedule...have to get moving! I'll keep you posted!!!!

Hey everyone I don't know if all of you know who I am but I am one Janice and Mark's children. I am going on the cruisse in 2011.

I got a call back from DCL...Ironically, his name is Roy. LOL Anyway, they are now in control of my ressies again. They took off the other agent...who I never authorized? Anyway, he asked if we would be willing to upgrade since cabins are becoming few and far between. I told him that we chose these cabins because they fit into our budget. I don't know if we can, or want to, pay more. He said he would have to do some juggling and call me back in a few days. I am SO bummed our cabin choices are gone! We were looking forward to our personal secret deck 7!!!

Keep the pixie dust coming!!!!

Well I have certainly missed a lot of not being on here for over a week. First I want to say Welcome to all the newbie’s. I am so excited for this cruise. But also excited I have over a year to save for it.
And I am very interested in hearing more about the “Martini Girls” and if it has anything to do with Martini’s. How can some of us others join? Well actaually my group name would have to be something with Captain. LOL
I keep reading everyone’s posts about the amount of snow everyone has received or is still receiving. I live in the Midwest where we should have 10 feet of snow and maybe this year have only gotten 2 feet. So I am jealous. As I said in previous posts we are avid snowmobilers and pray for snow. With that being said it is now March and I am so done with winter.
A little over two weeks from now my sister and our families will be flying with Dumbo at Magic Kingdom. I can’t wait!!
Well I guess I will get back to work. Everyone have a great rest of the week!!
