Hi Cathy,
We would like to join in the FE but will be travelling from Australia via Europe so logistically we might need to see how many people plan to participate and when the cut off will be. Hopefully this will be okay and we will keep checking in over the coming months.

Our cabin is right near yours- we are in 11002 - we would love to meet you all when we are on ship. We have family in Australia and our girls are 7 and 11 years old. they might hit it of with Cordelia.

I'd like to add my two neighbor girls to the FE list ... do you have a Candy Swap going as well? They'd LOVE to pre-meet some friends before the cruise. J is going in to seventh grade (she's 12) and A is going in to fifth grade (she's 10). They're both very friendly, Montessori-educated, and this will be their FIRST ever cruise! I'm so excited for them! Please contact me if you have a daughter/etc cruising who wants to exchange emails/Facebook before the cruise. They're sailing with an aunt and grandma who've also never sailed with DCL before so I'm trying to help them get caught up on understanding our weird traditions (FEs, Candy Swaps, Pre-Meets)! Thanks everyone and have a wonderful trip!

My Mother (Karen) and I (Michele) are taking my nieces (Janelle, age 12 and Alexa , age 10) on the cruise. This is a first for all of us. Before agreeing to join the FE I have to ask, what is an FE?

Hi Michele!!! Welcome!!!! This is our 1st Disney Cruise also. My mom and I are taking my 2 daughters 14 & 11. In post #11 Cathy explains what the FE is. It's a fun way to leave little gifts for people and it'll be fun to come back to our own cabins and fine what was left for us. My girls are VERY excited!!! Hope you'll join us!!! Cathy is the awesome person organizing all of this, she is Tigger 1313.

If you can make it lets meet at 3:00 at the Vista Café, Deck 4 midship.
No need to sign up for this, just show up

A lot of people on other pages are saying that they have had fish extenders, gift items and door magnets come up missing. They are suggesting zip ties to secure the FE and bringing your things in at night. Has anyone here had a problem? Any advice?

I can't figure this out? Help! I don't want to miss anything on this cruise. My children are so excited about FE and I can't seem to make it work.

Fabfivedisney - Several of us from this FE group have seen your post and added you to our own lists so don't be upset - you joined before the June 1 cutoff and I'm sure that Cathy (Tigger1313) the group admin will be in touch with you soon - you left names of everyone & ages and Cabin #s so we have the info we need. I have 2 questions - will there be 1 fish extender for both Cabins or 1 for each Cabin so we know how to disburse gifts? and if can you tell us yet who will be in which Cabin? If you like- go to Facebook & do a search for Disney Dream July 6-10 2014 - That's our group on Facebook -- and we chat there so come join us - and Disboards is the official sign up -- we are also have a group meet - on the first day July 6 at 3:00 PM at the Vista Café - Deck 4 midship - no one HAS to go but we thought it would be fun to get together!!!
