Good Morning Everyone!!

I am going to do the Linked Late Dining. If you would like your ressie to be linked to other disers at late dining, PM me...I will keep this post updated with the list.

Either when you originally PM me, or later if you would like, just send me your reservation number, and the primary person on the reservation's birthdate (month, date, year) -- from looking at the DCL site this morning, we can link up online now. I will wait until closer to the date to actually do the linking request, so that it doesn't mess up anyone's Palo/Shore Excursion/Spa, etc. reservations. Thanks everyone!!

Hi everyone!

Wow, seems like every day we have new cruisers. Welcome everyone! Haven't posted for a while, but I do read this thread often.

DCLShel--I have never participated in a FE exchange, but I have read that they give all kinds of gifts.....pens, notepads, magnets, handmade items like picture frames, etc. I read that people get things from oriental trading company. Hope that helps some.

Peter--update for the roster....we have switched to room 9530 and are now doing late dining. Thanks.

Just stopping by to say hello as haven't been around for a while.

Mick and I are off to Vegas and California next week .. first time at each for us both. If we win big, we'll buy everyone a drink on the Dream!!

Adam >> I've known it to be months before or just weeks before. I'm not sure there's a rule of thumb for getting upgrades .. perhaps how many you've done before? How much chocolate you promise the check in staff?!

I will be sure to bring boxes of chocolates! Luckly I love making chocolate and have always wanted my own candy company! Maybe a Chocolate Disney Dream! Maybe even for the FE!!! Ok now I'm getting excited and ready to start cooking! I guess I should wait though for a while.

As a newbie to all this, can you give me some examples of FE gifts so I know what to get? I appreciate the help!

Well there are whole posts just on FE gifts some even show pictures. HOwever, just as an idea. I have done postcards with a photo of the ship on them and included stamps when I got to CC so that they have the CC stamp on them. I have given little nippers (liquers), candy bags for children, bath and body work items, ship emergency kits with sunscreen, bandaids, autograph book, pens, highlighters to highlight items on the daily navigators, maple syrup from Bar Harbor Maine where I live, DVC pens and other items, Cast Member exclusive pins, hand-made seashell frames, bubbles that I got from walmart and had disney Wonder stickers made to put over the other label, fabreeze, wetnaps and other fun items including games and cards. Be creative and have fun either making up pacages to give each day like some do or others give 1 big gift for the entire cruise. It is completely up to you. I find it fun to give a smaller gift each day and hopefully I am able to meet the people I give gifts to and develope friendships with.

Ok - next question - is there a sign up for the FEs? I'm assuming there is so you know how many people you need to bring gifts for. Perhaps there's a list that I've missed or it will come later?

Good Afternoon Cruisers!

Adam- we were once in "guarentee" status forever! We joked about getting the "lifeboat suite". I do not know if it means you are more likely to get an upgrade the longer you are in "guarentee" status - we never got one.

Shelley - sign up for FE's are different on each cruise, I cannot remember if we have already said that on this one we will all just work off the master list or not.

The last time I heard we were going to work off the master list but that you did not have to give to everyone on that list.

And for the GTY status, if Im in a broom closet its ok as long as I'm on the ship for the maiden voyage! Well maybe not for what Im pahying to be on the ship and I will have make up my own room number so that I;m sure i get on the FE list!
