Yesterday I got my documents for Jamie's birthday cruise on the Wonder April 15th.

They are all new and different! It is pretty KEWL. It comes in a little booklet and it had listed on it a page showing all the stuff I have booked (like Palo's) that I had booked online through March 2nd.

It also showed that I had an on-board credit because the booking was done on board.

Of course, it also had the luggage tags and stuff. Much improved over the last document packages that were sent out in the past!

Wonders if he could make the April 15th Cruise? LOL

Been a while since I've checked in here... thanks for the BD wishes!

Got my packet in the mail too. Really surprised at that! I think that breaks the record for earliest I've ever received cruise info from DCL!! Said I could start booking port adventures on September 28th.... what port adventures? Exploring the ship will be our adventure!!

well today had really taught me that I am adddicted to the internet & my email.....I got home from work and logged into my email...and it said I had no new messages what?!?!?!?! No new messages...how can that be....were the Disboards down? Did no one email me today? Am I unloved (LOL)....then I think...OMG...do I have interent access??? I click on my Disboards link....thankfully the Disboards pops up.....come to this thread and see new posts....okay...I should have received an email....so I call my internet provider...yes...I'm a dork!!!! The lady I spoke to appeared a little peeved....yes...the mail is down and before I could ask she said and no we don't know when it will be up....I try to say as nicely as possible thank you and she hangs up on me....I guess she wasn't having a magical day!!!!

It looks like Platimum members get to book their excursions and stuff first.... since there seems to be soo many of you guys...I hope that there will be some things left for us lowly Gold and Silver members!!!!

So I will check in intermittently, because I have the other cruises to follow along with also...

I booked the very first day 2 Nov 2010, and the 9th person to post, but I don't know how lucky I am. I'm on deck 2, 11c basement special.
you might get lucky and get an upgrade as the longer it takes them to assign you a room number the better your chances are..
did you check on line DCL log on?? That would tell you if you have a cabin assigned yet.

We will get off and hit a local grocery store for some island supplies I can not get at home. Plus ya gotta get those ship in port pictures. As well as a plate of rice and peas.

That's the first decent reason I've seen for getting off the ship in Nassau.

I know what you are saying, Granted I prefer the Bahamian out island, Nassau is kinda special to me as I did my student teaching there, albeit several years back, so I do enjoy being there but we do get out of the rubber tamahawk district.
I don't enjoy the tourist area.

Leslie - yes, I think our port excursions will also be on the ship! It is too short a cruise to waste time at ports with a big new ship to explore!
