It looked like October 21 was missing a FE link for the Disney Dream. Is anyone going on this cruise? This is my family's first cruise, so we are incredibly excited but also new to everything Disney cruise. We are a family of 5. Girls 4 and 2 and boy 6.

This will be my second Disney cruise on the Dream and my DW's 3rd. My first was this past January. Needless to say we had a blast. This time, my DS and her husband will be taking their first Disney cruise (my DS has been on other cruises, first Disney cruise) with us. When we return on Friday, we are going to the MNSSHP at Magic Kingdom. On Saturday we will be going with some friends from Fort Wilderness to Sea World for the first time. We will be finishing up our vacation on Sunday at Fort Wilderness doing some looping, seeing friends and checking out all the awesome Halloween decorations.

We hope that you and your family have a great time :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

So... I have been going to MNSSHP for a few years, and I had no idea about the Halloween happenings at Fort Wilderness!!!! We usually stay at AoA, because we like the themed rooms for our young kids. But I just looked this up, and holy cow!!!! I know where we are staying next year. This is right up our alley. We are a Halloween 365/year family.

We will be at Walt Disney World for two weeks after our cruise. We will be home by the 11th of November. We wanted to check out the Christmas Party this year, but I don't think we will be staying this long next year. Public schools don't like to see my children out of class for so long.

We have done Halloween at the Fort the last few years and were scheduled for 10 days this year but cancelled and booked this cruise instead. We are already scheduled for a campsite at the Fort for 2020 for 14 days. Halloween next year is on Saturday and they are expecting a big brouhaha. Past Halloweens we have given out over 800 pieces of candy. The site decorations and golf cart parade are awesome. If you are thinking the Fort next year, you may want to get started now getting the reservation. If you are thinking campsite, not saying impossible but will take a bit of online persistence. They book campsites 499 days out and Halloween and Christmas are the 2 most in demand times. If you are thinking cabin, there may be more availability.

Haven't decided if we are doing next year yet... we are thinking about going to Tokyo Disney to next year when the new parks open. But I am definitely going to check the grounds out this year while we are down there. Halloween is my husband's and my anniversary. Thank you for the tip!
