Disney Dream Dining questions

Brand new to DCL. But cruises over 30 times. eyeballing Dream for August 2021so I have time According to the site I rotate into the three dining rooms. What happens on the 4th night ? For the animation place can we request to be by an interactive area. I seen pics and some tables look to be far away

The dining rotation is Animator's Palate; Royal Palace; Enchanted Garden (in that order)
So ARE, REA, and EAR are the choices.

The order on a 4 night cruise is typically 1223.
So ARRE; REEA; and EAAR.

Nights 1,2 & 4 you have each dining room's signature menu. The 3rd night is typically Pirate night and all dining rooms serve the Pirate menu.

In Animator's, some tables are a bit further from the interactive screens (which are all around the dining room), but, in my experience, still have some interaction.

We had RAE. So the other 2 rotations are AER and ERA

But as shmoo said nights 2 and 3 should be in the same dining room with one of them being pirate night with it's own menu

Being new to dcl I don’t know what Rae Adr or era is

we have kids so the special places are out for us

Sheesh. Lol. Sorry. I guess I now will have more patience with newbies. Will have two cabins. These can be linked like other cruiselines?

Yes, just call DCL and ask to have the two reservations linked. Or your TA will do it, if you used one.

We had RRAE on our 4 night in February. The 2nd night at Royal Palace was the Pirate Night menu, but we missed it because we were worn out from the Dolphin excursion at Atlantis in Nassau. We ended up just getting a snack from the top deck or room service pizzas and then tried out the Pirate buffet at Cabanas after the fireworks and deck party.

I was planning another one this fall where my parents were going to be in their own stateroom and we were able to link the reservations so that we would be seated together and on the same rotation which was something I worried about. Unfortunately they aren't going to be able to go so it will just be us.
