Going on our first Disney cruise next May 2016. Doing a 4 day Bahamian Cruise on the Dream, with a few days at WDW before & after cruise. Have a deluxe family stateroom with verandah booked. My daughter & her soon to be husband will be going with us, sharing the room. Are the couch bed & pull down bed large enough for adults?

I guess it depends on their size. My boys enjoy them but they are 12 and 13. I've heard of adults using them so I'm sure it's fine.

I believe most deluxe family staterooms have the Murphy bed, which pulls down out of the wall. The main bed, of course, is most comfy, but the others are fine as well. Just not *as fine*

You may want to check into booking 2 cabins (maybe an inside across the hall). It is sometimes less expensive. That way you will have more space 2 TV's and 2 bathrooms!!
This way you can enjoy and visit in the balcony room but at bedtime will have your own space:)

We found this to be the case on the 4 nt cruise, too. We had two standard staterooms booked side by side for less then a family deluxe verandah. We had to cancel because of a health emergency, but still... it was about $150 less expensive total.

I will definitely look into this! Thanks so much for the info!

I decided to go with booking an inside stateroom directly across from our cabin for our daughter & her fiance. It's going to be about $550 extra, but for the extra bathroom, and bed, I figured well worth it. Thanks again, everyone, for all your help!
