Disney Dream Deck 5 Question

Hi, I am thinking about booking a trip on the Dream and will probably end up in a room on the forward starboard side of Deck 5 around 5550. On the deck plans it looks like when you get off the forward elevator or stairs you have to go all the way up the port side and then come back around to the starboard side. Can anyone tell me if that is true or not? Thanks

I'm not sure why you would think that. It shows the passageway on both sides of the ship. You can exit the elevators and turn port or starboard.

There is one section that doesn't go all the way through. The rooms by 5650 have to go back to the elevator and cross on the other side. But that's only like 3-4 rooms so the backtrack is smaller even then most people are walking from room to elevator.

It's not true and the deck plan doesn't really indicate that. The space between the elevators and stairs on the deck plan is the landing from which you go into the stateroom corridors. On both the deck plan and in real life (I've been there), that landing is open to both the port and starboard stateroom corridors. This is true in both the forward and aft sections of deck 5.

Thanks everyone. I think it was the way I was looking at it, I thought those gray lines near the elevator area were walls, I was able to find a different deck picture that showed it better as well. Thanks
