Disney Dream Cruisers November 27, 2011

Hello my name is Paul and I am a single dad of two boys one 9 and one one 5 . We are going on our 3rd cruise November 27 2011 and our 4th cruise December 1 2011. We would love to do the Fish Extender exchange. I do not know how this works and it looks like a nice thing to start new friendships. So with that said any help would be very nice thank you for being such a good family.

Ok everyone, Who needs a list for FE's?

LOL, I did the list for our FE on the 11/29/09 cruise and am willing to do it again! YEAAAAA!

Info needed is as follows

-DISboards Name
-Room #
-Names of everyone in your room - Please specify ages and sex of the children
-Any special occassions or other important info

For instance here is our info

HallsInTheKingdom - Room 7034 - Chris, Amy, D Kaitlyn (7), D Allison (3)

I will go back and collect everyone info from the begining of this tread and get confirmations before I add to the "Official List".

Also FE gifts are whatever you want them to be, I know our last echange some of the handmade smaller things made the biggest hits. It some point we will need a cut-off date so everyone can.

Any helpful input is always appreciated!

We are booked on this Cruise. There will be my son, Tom and his wife Brooke with their two kids, Kaelin, 3 1/2 and Cason, 18 months, and myself, Diane and my DH, Dan. We have been on several cruises, but this is my first Disney. I am so looking forward to it.
We are also staying at the CSR after for 4 days. Was lucky enough to get a pin last week, so we saved several hundred dollars.

Cruising with DH, 2 DD's, DSIL and DBIL. This is our VERY first cruise!!!

We would love to do the fish extenders as well, I've already started coming up with ideas!

This will be our 3rd cruise for this exact time of year. We love the fact is is a bit off season and a little less crowded. The water is an the cooler side, but bearable for sure. We are from florida so if we can stand it I think anyone else will find it doable. When it comes to water temps I would call myself a wimp, hehe.

I had actually done a google search and found some good info on water temps, etc. Sounds like Nov will be a good time

She is named after both of her grandmothers ... Patricia and Jo Jeanine.

She does go by Patty Jo (or sometimes PJ, PBJ, Puju Manunu...)

Here is a link to a good thread about a packing list as well as some helpful hints and tips. Sometimes planning and packing can be overwhelming. Of course some may choose to lighten thier loads a bit more than this, but some stuff you may have never though about packing.

I booked this cruise while on The Disney Dream a couple of weeks ago!
BTW- the ship is awesome, exceeded my expectations!

So I read the entire thread and have a few comments.
(just a few )

I upgraded our stateroom today from a 11B (inside) to 9A - scored 8504 and I'm just completely intrigued as to how this forward corner cabin is going to look!

Me too! I toured a few cabins while onboard but not one of those.
make sure to take lots of pics or let us come visit...LOL

Sorry about that my understanding was that the T/A charges an additional fee for their services. We haven't used one maybe we should look into it. sorry I did not mean to miss inform.

the majority do NOT charge extra fees. But do take care of all the lil details for you including free upgrades or price drops.
So really, it may end up costing you LESS.

We are getting so excited with all the pictures coming out of the Dream! Just still seems so far away!! I am already working on stuff for the FE gifts!!:

on the FE, people get really creative and those are the gifts most pep enjoy.
Doesnt have to cost alot.
I print out the list and make sure to have something for the adults and then something age / gender app. for the kids.
Put items into a bag and label with cabin #s, very easy for delivery!

We cruise alot in Nov. - Dec. most of the time the weather is fine and water temp is fine also.
We cruised Thanksgiving 2010 and weather was perfect.
Cruised 2 weeks later (Dec 12th) and FROZE but the Bahamas was having unusually cold weather.
