Disney dream concierge room question?

Hi all. I have booked room 12512 for our upcoming cruise. Looks like room 12000 has become available. Thoughts on switching?

love 12000. It has the huge veranda.

If you are not a veranda person and spend time out there much, then I would keep 12512 as it has an awesome view of Castaway Cay and the fireworks.

We actually got back today from the Dream and had room 12510

The verandah is huge but people can look down from above and see most of it so it lacks the privacy of other verandahs.

12512 is ideal for CC views, fireworks views and access to the lounge by the side entrance. I would keep it.

I would stick with what you have. I would only stay in the big suites next to that room. The balcony doesn't appeal to me, it's not one you can just hang out and watch the water go by in private since everyone can see you. It also has those high see-through plastic walls that I think are to block the wind, but I love standing against the railing and looking down at the water.

On our last concierge dream cruise we met a couple who had that room who loved it so much they vowed to never cruise in another stateroom again.

I’m not in the room for castaway day (at least not long enough to want views), and I don’t care for the fireworks, and I’m not up to anything on my balcony that can’t be watched, so honestly, I’d have switched.

We have been in the forward rooms on the Dream class and while it is true that PARTS of the veranda’s are visible a good portion is covered by the overhang. It is quite possible to sit and enjoy what is essentially the bridge view and not be observed from above.

It may not be the view everyone enjoys but it has to be a pretty good view since it has a dedicated channel on the TV feed.
