Hi! New to this blog so please forgive me if I am looking at incorrect "data." I've been watching the Disney Cruise Line Blog as I like to see where all the ships are on a given day. I noticed last night and this morning that it seems the Dream hasn't moved her location between Nassau and Castaway Cay ... Is it that my connection to the internet is not updating or does anyone else see the Dream just "hanging out" ... I didn't think the weather looked bad ... Just curious! Thanks!

I have noticed that the Cruise Line Blog sometimes lags with updating where the ships are. I am also sure that they only have the current itinerary, not the actual data there.

If you want to see where the Disney Dream actually is, I would recommend www.marinetraffic.com

Marine Traffic has it in the same location as the DCL Blog .... odd ....

Now I understand what you mean!! On marinetraffic, when you click on the Disney Dream you will see that it says that the position was last updated 17 hours ago. So, the Dream has moved since then, but was outside certain sensors (or so). So, it is "hanging out" because you are looking at an old position. It also says that it was underway to Gorda Cay, which is the official name of Castaway Cay. Most likely she is in reality exactly where she is supposed to be: at Castaway Cay. Hope this helps!

Definitely helped!!! Thank you!!! Thought it was odd that she was just sitting there and nothing metioned as to why on the DCL Blog since they updated the Magic's quick diversion yesterday. Thanks for the tip to click on the Dream!! I will do that next time :-) Cheers!

I truly enjoy it as I was born and raised in Miami and now live in Colorado .... Keeps me connected to the ocean in a funny sort of way!!! The other day, I noticed the Dream and Fantasy passing each other and my son got the biggest kick out of that!!!
