Disney Dream Back-2-Back, 3 night and 4 night 17th-24th-Finished 3/18

Need a young adult perspective...I am considering dcl cruise for my Goddaughter's 18th b-day and early graduation. Thinking about 7 day in December 2012:. Would be me 47 at the time, mom 78 at the time and Tink 18at the time in her senior year. May have her best friend 2 weeks younger than she is but also 18 at the time. If so we will get two connecting stateroomsif available book one of us in each (Castaway club members) then put both of them together. Will there be enough for them to do not to be bored?? Goddaughter loves all things Disney and does not have a shy bone in her body, and is guy crazy in a good way, Best friend is shy, academic type. Not at all shy with us but people she doesnt know. Not at allinot guys, yet.

Any advice???

Well I'd say do it, I've had a great time on all my cruises, I'm shy but I've met lots of great people from cruise staff on my trips that I see when I cruise, so that helps me talk and be a little more outgoing. There will deff be enough for them to do

Please do post the navigators. I am sailing in 10 days!! Though I have heard they now only have 2 shows instead of 3.

well if your thinking of getting the purse I got. It say Inaugural Voyages, so I wouldn't count on getting the one I got on the Dream. Regular DCL one I'm sure you'll be able to get though. It was 200 and something can't remember the price for sure, they had smaller cheaper ones as well

No problem. Yeah hope you don't want the one I have though, since I'm sure it won't be there when you cruise, you did say you were cruising in 2012, or did I get that wrong before. I plan on buying the regular DCL one when I cruise the Wonder at the end of April

I have a coule questions regarding the back to back. We are doing a back to back on the Dream July/August. 4 and 5 night.

1. When you disembarked after first cruise. Did they call all of you that were doing the back to back around 11:00am to board or how did you know it was your time? I assume on the second one you are on before everyone else and they don't announce your name...again?!?

2. Do you know regarding Shutters....how much is a picture package on 4 or 5 night cruise. One the 7 night one the "big" package is $300 and you get xxx amount of credits. Do you know how it works on a 4/5 night cruise? Also, can you combine your package since technically it's two seperate cruises? I assume once the four night is over those pictures are gone?!?

For knowing when to get back on for the second cruise we checked in and then just waited near the doors along with other back-2-backers and at some point someone came out and let the back-2-backers on.

and can't help with question 2 since I usually only buy a few pictures, not enough for a package

Met up with dad and we were going to see Disney's Believe together, but he went to finish packing since he wasn't done with that and he had since the 5:00pm showing of the show. It was a great show once again. After the show walked around the Atrium for a while, ran into Nyoman and talked with him, he asked me why I looked sad(well it's the last night of the cruise). Said by to Nyoman and headed to The District area, went outside for a little since I still had time before Mark Nizer adult show in Evolution. Saw my dad and we headed to Evolution, Ponz was at the door greeting people so talked to him and another cruise staff person for a while, Ponz mentioned he was trying to transfer to the Wonder(who knows if that will happen for sure). I got pictures taken with Ponz.

Well I wondered when we'd get to see some crew picatures! These are two of my favorite too! Wouldn't it be great if Ponz got over to the Wonder for the repo and Alaska cruise!

Yeah, it would be great if he got transferred to the Wonder, I don't think he will, but I know he wanted to try to get to the Wonder.

Sorry, I'm a picture nut. We always buy a lot of pictures. Just figuring out how much I'm going to spend between a 4 and 5 night.

They don't have embarkation photo's set up yet when we boarded the second cruise, I can't remember if the things were set up, but I know the people that take pictures aren't set up, but if the backgrounds are up I'm sure you'd be able to have someone take it with your camera
