We are also doing the anniversary dinner in Remy...but we delayed it until the last night of the cruise. I would have loved to go the first night but didn't want to chance missing the "show" at Animator's Palate or missing out on one of the regular restaurants. I think waiting until the end of the cruise will make our last night there less depressing, too

FWIW, we are also doing WDW before the cruise and are staying at the Dolphin! No Starwood points here, but I did snag a nice teacher discount. Rob and Kristen will probably be meeting up with us one night for some Beaches and Cream at the Boardwalk...we should plan a pre-cruise meetup!

Finally got my Fish Extender from the ebay lady in todays mail. Came out so adorable, I love it!

Well after about an hour I got through all the posts. I always like to read them to see what people are talking about. We are still on the cruise and looking so forward to the trip. We are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary while cruising. This is our 5th DCL cruise.

Palo the last night for us too!!

I am doing Palo's the last night. It is always sad the last night when you pack your stuff up. I cried in February. Love Beaches and Cream...yummmm

...it sounds like we're going to have quite the crew of upcoming HS freshmen on this cruise!

...and this middle school teacher will be very pleased to go hide out at the Quiet Cove with her Drink of the Day... :X

Four weeks of school plus one week of in-service left. I am definitely ready for summer.

Did anyone see the announcements today about the Fantasy? I love the "peacock" theme of the atrium, although I have a feeling people will be divided about that here. And vintage Minnie as the statue is just adorable! Too bad that we will likely be chilling with Ariel on the Wonder in Alaska that summer, instead

Palo the last night for us too!!

YAY! We have a reservation at 8. I looked at the estimated sunset for that day and it should be at 7:50. So it should be beautiful as we eat! We have the 7 show so we will head over to Palo's after. I am looking forward to the restaurants.

Oh, sweet mother of pearl, don't make me so jealous. Kids' last day up here is June 16th, my last day is an entire week of in-services later. Due to the crazy budget cuts happening up here in PA, many of us are also going to be transferred to different grades/rooms/subjects/buildings in response to some program changes as a means of saving jobs...so I really just cannot wait for the year to finally end! Next week should at least be a nice break in routine, though, as I am helping chaperone the annual 7th grade overnight trip to Williamsburg, VA. It's a bit of a crazy time every year, but three days away is still three days away

We did this on our HM and it was terrific! We had a set by the windows and everything and the view was wonderful. Is Remy enclosed, or will we have a similar experience there? Anyone know? We opted not to do dinner at Palo this time because we wanted to see all the restaurants and not miss pirate night Hopefully we'll still be able to get brunch there. King crab legs....nom nom nom nom nom nom...

Here in Boston, our last day is June 22! Boo for so many snow days this winter!

Tell me about it! At least our school board was a little smarter this year and shuffled around the in-service days. I haven't had one since the first marking period, BUT they did decide to swap an instructional day with an in-service day during spring break this year so as not to cut into it. Last year we ran out of snow days and lost a day of spring break. NOT fun, we DH and I already had plans to visit DH's best friend in San Francisco that week...we lost an entire weekend of our trip

Sorry to hear about the budget cuts...this is always scary. I am a RN and about every 3 years we do cut backs, etc. It is a continous cycle. It is always nerve racking. I will try not to make you jealous...remember it is just my kids off on break not me! LOL. My sister is a Teacher and she is sooo ready for her break! She is done May 31st. Which is so ridiculous that she has to go 1 day after Memorial Day. Whose big idea was that?

I have seen pix of Remy's and there are ocean views!!

The brunch is full...but Dh wants to be on the waiting list. brunch is awesome!

Still keeping my fingers crossed that there will be ressies left when I board. If not I will be crawling over the reservations desk there to get on the list on our sea day! Umm, I don't really have anything constructive to say. Except I'm excited. (obviously) Since I don't plan on having kids of my own, it means so much to me that I can make some magic for the nieces.
