Wait a minute....that's my Honey.... you're talking about!!!!!

We're REALLY getting close now!!

Who's excited??

Who's nervous??

Who's panicking about not being ready??

What is everyone looking forward to the most??

I am super excited, but also nervous. I am afraid the baby is going to cry from take off until landing. But I am going to expect the worse and hope for the best on that situation.

I am never fully ready and totally packed until we get into the car on the way to the airport.

I can't pinpoint one thing I am most excited about. I am looking forward to this trip in it's entirety.

I'm not looking forward to the flight, and I don't have a baby anymore!
I just hate long flights. :guilty:
But it's worth it.

I always have the same Pre-Cruise dream. I dream we're on the ship, and I'm unpacking and unpacking....never get out of the room, and then someone comes and tells me it's time to leave. :sad2: I hate that dream/nightmare.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Dream and comparing her to the Magic and Wonder. Both of those are like home, I know them as well as I do my own house....so I'll be lost this trip.
I think that's what I'm most nervous about. Not finding my way around, and then wasting time trying to figure it out.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and new.

AND MOSTLY......just being on the ocean. If only I could live there.:cloud9:

And I'm a little freaked out about learning how to turn the lights in the room off and on!!!:confused3

Have you flown with the baby before? You're a nurse, you know about making sure you have a bottle or nurse upon take off and landing, right?

Sometimes babies fuss. I know it's hard on the parents, because we want them to be happy and quiet...but it doesn't always work that way.
PAY NO ATTENTION to anyone who might give you "a look" if the baby is fussy. They'll get over it. Just relax. The more relaxed you are, the more relaxed the baby will be.

Thanks! I'm glad her first flight is to Orlando bc I KNOW there will be a ton of kids with hopefully understanding parents.

Yes, I know to nurse on take off and landing. I am also brining my carrier, so H or I can walk up and down the aisle with her if she gets antsy. I am buying a new toy or 2 as well.

It's little under 3 hours for us, so that's not too bad.

Like I said in my head i am just assuming it's going to be a nightmare. That way if it's not - it will be a surprise!

Good point about having a lot of families on the plane!

And good luck. It should go well...I'll be thinking good wishes for you!

SOME YOU just CAN NOT TEACH NEW TRICKS TOO :scared1::lmao:

:rotfl2:

:worship:

remember it has a dimmer also !!!!:wizard:

Well, I think it's just plain SILLY. None of the other ships I've been on have lights like that. I'm certain it's a money-saving thing, but geesh.....DCL gets a TON of money for their cruises!

The DREAM is just soooo pretty, you will love her. The trip ... Will be ... Whatever it will be. It sounds like you are prepared for the pressure change for the baby, that is the main thing....

Stacey, we had a hard time on the DREAM since she is similar but not exactly the same. The Crew that had worked on the Magic or Wonder had the same experience. It was harder than fotnthe newbies who had no memories of what deck the lounge was supposed to be on, or the pool etc. But she is so prettyand there are so many things to seeee.
