So - because this is such a LONG thread, and I got to about page 17 without getting much info.... How many DIS people are on this cruise. Is there anything special (other than a wedding) taking place during the trip - etc etc???

Since there aren't very many different people posting, I'd have to say that there aren't a lot of DISer's on the cruise. Might be quite a few "Newbies" who haven't found us yet.

A bunch of us have cruised and traveled together for years. Just jump right in, don't be intimidated by us. WE are the Addams Family personified!!
Or at least just a little creepy and kooky!!!

I haven't heard of anything special that would be happening on the cruise. They usually don't do a whole lot on the 3 and 4 night cruises.
I'm just really looking forward to exploring the new ship, and checking out the changes in the main dining rooms, so no Palo or Remy for me!

Glad to see some new cruisers on the list

We have our plane tickets purchased and will be arriving the evening of the 28th. (too bad we will miss the wedding sounds like fun). Now we just have to wait for September.

I'm trying to be informed without making too many plans. We will just see how things go when we get on the boat

We are on the 9/25 4 day. We (well, I) would love to do a B2B and add this one after. The only way I can get DH on board, I'm figuring, is if I can get an inside stateroom. If anyone here cancels or knows of someone that does in an inside, would you please post it here? We would be a 2/2.

We'll keep our eyes and ears open for you. I'd love to do a B2B also....but it just isn't in the cards this time.

The only reason I might be able to slide it by DH is we won the 9/25 one thru a sweepstakes--cruise for 4, airfare, tips and transportation from airport to port. Figure if we could do 7 days while only having to pay for 3, we oughtta!!

We are getting married the day before at WDW - and the cruise is our honeymoon. There will be me (Erin - 26) and Steve - 27 and in the room next door our best friends Marcus - 28 and Clare 27. This will be Marcus and Clare's first ever overseas trip - Steve's 4th trip to disney parks, my third - and for all of us our first time cruise!

So excited!!!!!!

We are coming from Australia - and are so looking forward to the trip!

Los Angeles to Orlando (Universal hotel 4 days, WDW hotel 10 days)
DISNEY DREAM CRUISE
Orlando to NYC
NYC to Vegas
Vegas to Melbourne

Couldn't think of a better honeymoon than bringing our friends with us! Must go post on the WDW wedding sections too.

Welcome Erin & Steve Sounds like a Dreamy Wedding trip and honeymoon.
As Garry and Stacey have indicated a few of us have cruised together before - We are all celebrating our DD's wedding at Castaway Cay.

we don't have any small children traveling with us but we do have a lively group. You are welcome to join in any activities - as Stacey said - the more the merrier.

Hi Everyone!!!

What a wonderful way to celebrate a wedding...Wait, that's not right....what a magical way to celebrate a wedding...nope still wrong. I hope this will be the Wedding of your DREAM Welcome...We are two - adults that is, no cure kids and we are as far from overseas as you can be as we live in Florida, the home of the mouse.

We are part of the "other" wedding group on CC and glad to have more new friends to meet on board.

Hey if you're around on the 28th - we are allowed up to 20 guests - and only have 2! : We invited the lady from disney photography that helped steve arrange the proposal (might be a report on here - was PERFECT and very different to most), not sure if she'll be able (or allowed) to come though!
