Disney Dream! 8/15/2012

I am most lookiing forward to
(1) Spending vacation time with my one and only manlet (as eaglet is to Eagle)
(2) Sand on my feet and the smell of suntan lotion on my skin
(3) looking at all of that water and thinking.. omg it sure is pitch out there
(4) seeing my manlet's face light up when he sees characters. We are still in that age (he'll be 7) when the magic is real
(5) meeting new people (hopefully some nice folks who can tolerate a Steelers Fan talking smack pre season)

Our cruise has gone up $1,000 since we booked in Dec. My moms has gone up $450. Crazy!!! So glad we didn't wait.

(1) Celebrating my bday (it's a few days after the cruise on the 22nd)
(2) The food! God I love the food!!
(3) The 'Duck'...it's so awesome!
(4) Castaway Cay- adult only beach here I come.
(5) hmmmmm can't think of anything else.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to join the party. We ( myself ,DW, and 9 yrd old twin boys at time of sailing) just booked this cruise this week as part of a land/sea stay. I have a lot of catching up to do on the cruise forums but a lot of time to do it before we sail. See you all there ( and here).

I'm looking forward to:

1) Keeping the party going for my DS's birthday (he turns 5 on August 5 so first WDW then the Dream!)

2) The FOOD!

3) The Duck

4) Having something for everyone to enjoy.

5) Being able to explore the ship while everyone else is asleep. (Finally a benefit to having insomnia)

That's my top five so far anyway.

I have been looking into horseback riding in Nassau, but am not finding much... I have always wanted to trail ride down a beach, but even in Hawaii I couldnt find a place that did that anymore...Something about insurance , BUT I have heard that the islands still do that.... So I figured its worth looking into..... We will see...If not...It stays on my bucket list....

It is snowing out my window right now...The poor Robins just dont know what to do...yesterday it was warm and green today everything is snow covered...I wish winter would just give up and let spring take over...
It IS the first day of spring today...and snow????...REALLY????...

Just back from 12 days away in Florida ( or on route, since we drove down and meet friends who flew and then they are driving our vehicle back while we flew home)

The weather was great the whole time we were there. Most of our time was spent near Venice, Florida but we were in Kissimmee from Friday until today.

Went to Hollywood Studios yesterday and it was great. I thought it would be extremely busy but it really wasn't all that bad. We did everything at a comfortable pace and enjoyed the day.

As for the snow...I'm feeling your pain this week. 80 a few days ago and now 50s! Sheesh! Heading to the World in 72 days! Can't wait!!!

Not only are the prices increasing daily it seems but certain categories are already selling out. When my mom booked in Feb. she only paid the deposit for 2 adults in a 5D. Well today when I tried to add my other sister and nephew to the ressie I had to get her bumped up to a 5C because they were maxed out of 5Ds for 4 ppl. If you know anyone wanting to book more than 3 ppl (i.e. 4 or 5) tell them book everyone ASAP. They will still allow 2 or 3 in inside cabins but I think oceanview was completely sold out. Of course these things can change daily but I know there are ppl that will check daily for what they want. Just a quick FYI for those that haven't booked yet.

Well I only found one place and it hasnt gotten many good reviews...So I am undecided...

I forgot I started this thread! I was looking around and found it agin- I will subscribe!

It is so cool to get to know some of our fellow ship-mates!

THe 4 of us will be going and staying at the world after the cruise!

I can't wait- it is still so far away!

The kids are so excited it will be their 1st cruise ever and my DH & my 1st Dis cruise!

We decided today to change the date of our cruise. We will now be sailing October 14, 2012. While I'm sad to have to wait longer I'm also excited that we'll be at WDW for MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival. I hope that you all have a great time in August 2012.
