Disney Dream! 8/15/2012

Our 2nd Anniversary is Oct. 10. Last year, for 10-10-10, we went to Vegas to have our vows renewed! It was a hoot!

Also, we're totally in for fish extenders! We've never done it, but my kids are totally excited about it.

This cruise will be our 5th, pending we book the 5 day before it. Can't wait!

My husband (56)and I (55)will be going on this cruise too...
We are also with the group Cruisin was talking about.

This will be our 4th cruise and our 2nd Disney cruise. I loved the Disney cruise's so much, that I don't think Id go on any other company's ships now.
There are about 8 in our group I think. Not including family members????
It will be so cool to get to know all of you too...

I am in for fish extenders also...
FYI, you can send a box to the cruise line ahead of time, if you have a lot to pack.

Anyway I am looking forward to meeting you all and share info and plans!
Is anyone planning on doing WDW before or after the cruise?

I am the second one back on the left(in Lt. blue dress), with my husband Mike behind me.
That was my favorite cruise so far....Cant wait to do it again, with old Dis friends (and hopefully some new ones too), on a newer ship! Whoo,hoo!

Right Now though ...I am looking out at MORE snow...

My DS7 and I will be joining the Aug15th cruisers for what will be our 2nd Disney Cruise. I booked Nov 10, 2011 Dream and figured I might as well book Aug 2012 (and given the price increases I am glad I did) because we'll probably love it and and want to go again! I am so excited about November which will be my son's first cruise.. Looking forward to chatting as time flies past us!

I don't have any pictures downloaded at the moment however I can say this....for those that think 'oh it doesn't look like much water, I shouldn't get that we't. I have this to say 'UH NO!' You get soaked! I thought I would be able to sit up a little and keep my curls (I had a rod set) but by the time the ride was over it was bye bye curls, hello flat iron.

We're planning on going to WDW before we set sail. Is anyone else?

My husband just called me from work and told me that a couple from his work are coming with their kids. Now he's even more excited that he'll have people to talk to. As an added bonus they're DVC members and told him all about it and he finally seems interested. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll want to join too.

We're DVC members, too, and I'll talk to ANYONE about it! On our last Magic cruise, I was hanging out at the DVC desk, asking people who walked by if they were members...the DVC CMs loved it! lol

I just went and checked the price of our cruise again, because I was debating changing categories. It has gone up $300 so far. I wonder what the final cost will be before we set sail. Now I feel good about booking so early and not crazy like people have been telling me.

Ya, I was going to wait to book the 8-10-12 cruise until we're on the Dream in October. Now, the rate jumps are scaring me. I'm not sure what to do! ugh

I was just checking out a friends Cruise photos...The Dream looks so fresh and new...
A friend of mine, just got done with a cruise on the Wonder and she was telling me that it is looking like it needs a refurb..Carpets looking worn, and the wooden rails all pitted.....So Im glad we are going on the brand new Dream...
Not to mention the "DUCK"...Is anyone going to go on it?..I know Ill be trying it at least once.

Too bad its over a year away...I want to go NOW!...LOL

What are the top 5 things you are looking forward too the most, about this cruise?

Ill start...
1)NO SNOW in Fla, or the Bahamas...LOL
2)The newness of the ship..I always like checking out a ship Ive never been on...
3)The "Duck".. Ive never been on a water coaster, much less one on a cruise ship...Looks Fun!
4)Castaway Cay!... Adult beach here I come!
5) The thing I am looking forward to the most...Is meeting up with all my friends again!...and meeting new ones too!

We will be going to WDW either before or after the cruise...Not sure which yet...but I cant get that close to WDW and NOT go...
That would be like sitting a kid next to a big candy bar and telling them not to touch it....Just too hard to do!...

I don't know if I will go on the aquaduck? If I have to go without glasses then no for sure. What's the point if I can't see anything?

5 things I am looking forward to

Spending time with my friends........ old and new.

Exploring the new ship.

Just being on a ship. I like that.

Seeing palm trees.......... my favourite type of tree.

Castaway Cay. I really like the island and having a bunch of people to hang out with, instead of being alone, makes it that much more fun.
