DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

On another note, what is everyone doing at Nassau?

We'll be following Chuck around, checking out the artwork and playing the detective game!! :thumbsup2 May even take some time to play FE fairy, or FE elf, or whatever ya call it. Then I think I may be peeking into the Outlook around 4:00, or at least hanging around to see the wedding party!!! Congrats to the bride and groom!! If the Outlook on the Dream is anything like the one on the Wonder, it will be great!! That was my happy place on our last cruise.

Angie, thanks for the explanation on how to get to Virginia's photobucket account. It works that way!

Virginia, I love the font you used for the nametags! The 3-D effect is really cool!!

Us to on Nassau day. or something like that :)

If you click on the "click here for FE" link in Virgina's signature, it takes you to the post with the FE list including the list that is in her photobucket. Click on the "spreadsheet" and that will take you to her photobucket account. If you scroll thru, you should find your name tag! Hope this helps!

Wow, I did not know that our name tags were being made :goodvibes
I found my way thru and they look great! Printed mine on photo paper too

If I can pull this together we will be in Pirates costumes. Don't worry about being the only ones. There have been quite a few dress up on our last 2 cruises. Some as simple as Pirates T-shirts and some quite extravagant. This will be our 1st time dressing as Pirates. Last year I spent the time sewing a formal gown for myself and a vest and cumberbund for my DH. Just had time to finish them before the cruise. This time there isn't a formal night so I can concentrate on Pirates.

No formal night? I was wondering how many there would be on a 5 night cruise but haven't found that info yet. Can you please fill me in. Thanks!:confused3

Formal night is only on 7 night or longer cruises. Shorter cruise only have a semi-formal & Pirates night. The rest of the nights are cruise casual. But, I have seen some people dress up pretty formal on semi-formal night, so I guess that's up to you.

I may be following both you!:lmao: We don't plan on getting off the ship in Nassau- we'll see, but generally I like to lounge at the pool or now we have the aquaduck and a new ship to discover.

Hmmm...I think ours is called Blue Lagoon dolphin encounter :)

Hey, my family and I are on the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Encounter! We have been debating whether or not we want to do it. It sounds like a lot of fun, but we didn't want to pack our day too full.

I am having some serious decision-making issues! I can't decide if we should do the doplhin encounter at Blue Lagoon, or if we should sleep in, hang out on the ship and relax.

If anyone has any input or experience please let me know!!

We have the glass bottom boat tour scheduled for the morning. After that, we may just stroll around downtown for a little shopping. The history freak in me wants to see the forts, but DS won't appreciate it.

Oh.... :rolleyes1:littleangel:

I think "everyone" should go check out Nassau. Go enjoy the Bahamas. We will self-sacrificiously hold down the fort on the boat for everyone. Don't feel stuck on the ship. We will make sure the Aquaduck gets used properly, the sundecks gets used nicely, :yay: We are here for you, and we will be happy to take care of the ship whilst everyone else heads into port. :littleangel::littleangel:

Isn't that like SUPERSWEET of me to offer? :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:yay:

But seriously. This will be our third stop at Nassau. The first time we decided to make our own way over to Atlantis. :scared1: scary adventure. then we went to the straw market :scared1::scared1::scared1: ack!!

The second trip, we got the shopping guide, got off the ship and found a little better area and got some of the free jewelry stuff, and then got back on the ship.

I would say if you want to see Nassau, def do it via an excursion.

We'll take care of the boat for everyone .:cool1::cool1:

We did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon on our first Disney Cruise and it was magical!! :tinker: Our last cruise we stayed on the boat in Nassau (DH goes gambling at Atlantis and me and DD's stay on the boat and relax, swim) and we plan to do the same this cruise. The dolphins are very interactive with you so if you have small children, it may be scary for them. Mine were 4 and 7 at the time and my 7 year old loved it but my 4 year old was a little scared. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience for us. We may do it again next cruise but we are trying to get as much time as we can with Aquaduck :donald:
