GGggggrrrrrrr......... Who do I have to offer 'inappropriate' favors to to get my cruise docments???? Came home from work- mail is here without any cruise documents.

Kicker is - we're bringing my MIL - we booked her a seperate cabin on OUR DVC points. Guess who got her cruise documents- YESTERDAY!!!!

After the day I had at work and NO cruise documents.... it will be a TALL glass of wine night!!!

Not quite the same but this is the way I felt about my GTY status. I would see people on our cruise posting about getting their room # and still nothing for us. And then, one day there it was!! Hopefully tomorrow you will get your documents

I just called back my TA and she said ours is in!! Thank goodness to have good new after bad wedding news and terriable days at work.
One of my bridesmaids decided to tell me I am a b*tch.
And my kids at work like to throw toys at me and hit me and call me an a$$ hole. Is it May 29th yet so I can get away?!

OMG! Wow!! Well it's almost cruise time and you'll be with the rest of us and you're on your Honeymoon!! Just keep swimming, just keep swimming

OMG how 'old' are these children. I'm thinking if they are young enough to be throwing toys, they are NOT old enough for that type of language!!!!

Here I sit in my office - all by myself. Good thing too BECAUSE I JUST SPILLED MUSTARD ALL OVER MY SHIRT! Yup- my nice NEW baby-blue polo shirt I need to wear all week for this system implementation project. So the day can ONLY get better - right????

Maybe the Cruise Gods did this to me so I'd REALLY appreciate getting my cruise documents when they finally come!!!! Which had better be tonight at the rate I'm going!!!! I need a little 'sunshine' in my life right now!!!!!

QUESTION- did all of you who have received your docs that did NOT use a TA get them via FedEx?? I ask because my MIL, who has her own cabin, will NOT answer the door for FedEx unless she knows she's expecting something!!

Mine came in the regular mail and I didn't use a TA.

Everything will work out if you go with the flow. Don't dwell on what you can't change and change what needs to be changed to make it work. People like that sometimes aren't worth the effort.

Oh man. I'm sorry to hear all that. Some people just need to be adults about things.
This girl got mad because I said she couldn't bring this guy as a date because she has not been dating someone over a year and we do not know him. We had made those rules when we first got engaged. She tired to tell me that my sister couldn't bring her boyfriend because they were not dating a year, when my sister told me the day before they had been & i knew they had been. So she told me that he probably wouldn't have come any way because he thinks I am a b*tch [I've met the guy once]. So I told her I do not want someone there that thinks I am a b*tch and if she thought that i wouldn't want her there. She said fine then I won't. I said pretty much by saying she wasn't in it she called me a b*tch. She said yes and that I have become ridiculous. I told her if I didn't want her in the wedding I would have never asked and if she didn't want to be in it she could have said no.

But I was adult about everything and figured out a way everything will work. =) One of my girls will be walking with two guys.

Just remember. Bridesmahaids are expendable. The only two people who HAVE to be there are you & your fiancee. Hang in there!

Just remember- the wedding is a day and your marriage is a lifetime. Do what makes YOU happy for YOUR wedding. It sounds to me like she's mega-jealous. And even if your sister was dating a guy for 2 wks before your wedding- it's YOUR decision who goes and who doesn't. If people can't support that, they should NOT be standing up for you!! Don't let any of it stress you out. Do what makes YOU happy and what will make YOU enjoy YOUR day......

And don't forget- we will ALL require pictures to see on the cruise!!

Way to go, Callie!! Rise above it all and show everybody just what you're made of! No sense getting caught up in their pettiness!! Hope things ease up for you at work, too. Just remember, at 4 and 5, many of those kids don't have any idea what they're saying. They've heard it and they're repeating it, that's all. {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}} Oh yeah, and let me second what Denise said, we will ALL require pictures to see on the cruise!!

Thanks. DD is now happily married for 10 years. Get past this and have a fun day. Sounds like the other girl should take a long look in the mirror, or maybe she was looking in the mirror when she was talking to you. Sounds like she is the b*tch and needs to grow up. The bride & groom get to decide who comes to the wedding. I hate when I hear people ask if they can bring someone when the invitation was addressed only to them. When one of my co-workers got married she invited me & DH, but not DD. I understood but another co-worker asked to bring her daughter and she told her OK and then told me I could bring my DD too, but I said I understood that she didn't want kids at the reception & wouldn't go against her wishes. The other girl came and hated being there.

You know what i'm looking forward to on this cruise?

besides all the obvious things.

Not being a short-order cook for my kids for a week. DD3 is so random on her eating, and the two of them never seem to want the same thing for breakfast in the morning!

(I have not had my diet dr pepper yet if you can tell).

AND. AND AND. I'm looking forward to not having to sit there and figure out what is for dinner! I love cooking. Hate planning!

I think that today I shall listen to my Castaway Club CD and slather on some coconut lotion and live in a pretend world. It's kind of a yucky day outside, perhaps DD3 and I will put our swim suits on and run around the house preteneding we're at the beach.
