Boy, I am tired of it too! No sunshine and no cruise documents either. I feel pitiful. And to top it off, as of today, Chuck could update the roll call to say "Teresa - 47" instead of 46. Cruise documents would have been a good b-day present!

I'm trying to feel for you but I just can't reach you. I turned 57 in November and DH turned 67 on the 18 of April. Just think about it, you made it through another year and have a lot to look forward to in the next (Think CRUISE). Think young and act like a kid. Isn't that why we all like Disney Cruises?

Received our documents today as well.

They have changed the format from the old booklet we received in prior cruises. I liked the new spiral format. YEAH!!!!! Happy Dance

I have a couple of questions... I have read all about fish extenders and think I understand they are small gifts attached to the fish on the outside of the cabin door (you bring enough for all that are on the list and you get a specified time/day to deliver--is this correct?). I read the hard stop for FE is in May so is there any way to add my DD 7 years old, and DD 10 years old to the list? (I do realize some have already gotten the gifts and that is no problem . Thanks for any input or guidance I also have sent a message to the person in charge, I think. I can't register through any of the links since I do not have 10 posts

I've gone and added you. Latecomers have until the 13th, I think, to sign up. With the understanding of course that you're late, which you said you are. But I will need your cabin number and your names (include yourself and DH too)! And your summary is correct, you bring enough for all that are on the list (either by family/cabin/kids/adults - your choice), but our group has decided that there's no specific time/day to deliver. Our cruise docs came yesterday too, sorry to everyone who is still waiting. I like the new format - it's been a couple of years since we've cruised, so I'm not sure how "new" it really is - but I'm diggin' it !

We received a piece of paper with our booking number and a small pamphlet when we paid our cruise in full, are we to expect more cruise documents from DCL? We booked thru a TA. Just curious with everyone talking about getting documents in the mail This is our first disney cruise so I have no idea! haha

you should get a spiral bound packet with cruise information/itinerary, luggage tags, etc in it. In most cases when you book with a TA, it will ship to them first. usually they are totally neurotic about that...I'm an outside agent (I work in Kansas, my home office is in Iowa)...they won't even send the docs dierctly to MY office, it has to go to my HOME office first. bummer.

you should get them, or a call from your TA very soon!

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. Went to see my daughter who lIves about 3 hours away. She broke her ankle in Jan and had 2 large screws removed yesterday she is doing well but still in some pain but no more air cast.

OMG how 'old' are these children. I'm thinking if they are young enough to be throwing toys, they are NOT old enough for that type of language!!!!

Maybe the Cruise Gods did this to me so I'd REALLY appreciate getting my cruise documents when they finally come!!!! Which had better be tonight at the rate I'm going!!!! I need a little 'sunshine' in my life right now!!!!!

QUESTION- did all of you who have received your docs that did NOT use a TA get them via FedEx?? I ask because my MIL, who has her own cabin, will NOT answer the door for FedEx unless she knows she's expecting something!!

I hate to hear stuff like this happening before a wedding. 2 weeks before my DDs wedding I called the last day to RSVP for the shower. I had been sick with the flu all month and I was sewing a few of the outfits for the wedding. (It was a Halloween handfasting costume wedding with a Renaissance flaire) The bridesmaid said it was nice that I had waited so long and could I tell my niece (another bridesmaid) that she owed money toward the shower. I told her I had been sick & still wasn't doing to good and told her she could call my niece. I asked if she had even talked to any of the other bridesmaids besides her roommate about the shower and she said no. Then she told me F-You. I hung up in tears and called the Maid of Honor. The hadn't even talked to her. They then called my DDs future sister-in-law (another bridesmaid) and complained to her about me. She calls me and wants to know why I am messing with the shower. Now she's mad at me too. They cancelled the shower (which was scheduled at a very expensive restaurant) and we planned a nice home shower at my Mom's house. Then the girl I originally talked to and her roommate call my DD and tell her they are no longer in the wedding. She goes into full panic mode & has a full blown panic attack. She now has 6 guys and 4 girls in the wedding party. Then she realizes that her best friend is one of the guys and it is a Halloween wedding, so she asks him if he would mind dressing up as a Comic book female character. He does and we have the best and most fun wedding imaginable.

Everything will work out if you go with the flow. Don't dwell on what you can't change and change what needs to be changed to make it work. People like that sometimes aren't worth the effort.

Just remember. Bridesmaids are expendable. The only two people who HAVE to be there are you & your fiancee. Hang in there!
