We got our docs today too!!!! I almost didn't read the mail as I was having people over for dinner, but glad I did!!!

I wonder what order they send them in - be it by last name, category booked, date of booking, paid in full date???? There must be SOME method to the madness!!!!

I'm hoping for ours tomorrow, but will be happy as long as I get them by the end of the week!!! Then I just have to not loose them!!!

I don't know. Our res is through DU and I thought the docs were supposed to be sent to them, then us. We got them straight from Disney.

Did the DOCs com in the MAIL? They used to be shipped UPS. Still waiting for ours. When they came UPS they were sent to our TA and they called us to pick them up.

I am new to the disboards and have been reading all day! We are booked for May 29th and I can't wait, this will be our 3rd Disney Cruise and I have just been introduced to this wonderful forum (I feel so left out on the other cruises). We have always decorated our door with magnets but I have wondered about the fish extenders.
I have a couple of questions... I have read all about fish extenders and think I understand they are small gifts attached to the fish on the outside of the cabin door (you bring enough for all that are on the list and you get a specified time/day to deliver--is this correct?). I read the hard stop for FE is in May so is there any way to add my DD 7 years old, and DD 10 years old to the list? (I do realize some have already gotten the gifts and that is no problem . Thanks for any input or guidance I also have sent a message to the person in charge, I think. I can't register through any of the links since I do not have 10 posts
A little about myself and family: I am a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (I take care of sick babies) and my DH is a RN in the operating room on the ENT team. We live in Maylene, AL and work in Birmingham, AL. My 10 year old DD loves cheerleading and 7 year old DD loves gymnastics.
Thanks and you all (from what I have read) seem like a WONDERFUL group and I can't wait!! I know I am late to this forum but I feel like I know everyone from all the reading. God Bless!!

OMG I am SOOOOOO Jealous!!! That means the rest of us can OFFICIALLY START STALKING THE MAIL MAN!!! To be honest, I completely forgot about cruise documents until I came here and caught up on the thread. I LOVE the rush you get when that package is in the mail!!! Can't WAIT!

So...I went back to work today. I swore to my boss, my husband, and myself I would only work 6hrs so I didn't over-do.... I went in at 6:45 a.m....and left at 3:45 pm..... THEN I went grocery shopping and then tanning. I justified tanning because it was 20 min of laying down - just like the 'rest' the doctor ordered!!! I am exhausted but in a good way. I know that being back to work will make the next few weeks FLY by! Plus I have Josh's communion 2 wks before the cruise. I'm working nights 1/2 of this week and all of next week so those two weeks will really go by fast - then it's only 3 weeks left!!!

Please take the following in the loving spirit intended: HELLO HELLO This is your official scolding. Aren't you supposed to take it easy? You DO want to make it to the cruise feeling good don't you? We want you to, so take care of yourself!

I'm not sure of this. We have 2 cabins with 4 different addresses so we recieved all of our docs for the 5/26 on Sat. but today I only recieved 1 of my for 1 of my sons, since my family will be in both cabins. So who knows if there is even a system. We booked everything at the same time. I am just so happy to have them in my hand and to be able to look at them all through the day.

Boy, I am tired of it too! No sunshine and no cruise documents either. I feel pitiful. And to top it off, as of today, Chuck could update the roll call to say "Teresa - 47" instead of 46. Cruise documents would have been a good b-day present!

They came regular mail. I think our previous trips, they have come UPS in an official looking envelope.

Take it easy? I repeat...
Actually I sort of AM taking it easy. When at home I have this urge to go shopping, clean the house - do LOTS of stuff I really shouldn't do. At work Im' stitting in my office on my behind all day!!! I am NOT doing floor nursing until we get back from our cruise (so no heavy / patient lifting) - my 'alter ego' is an Nursing IS educator- I teach the electronic medical record. We are doing a MAJOR upgrade this week - today actually, so I felt bad that after a year of blood, sweat and tears that I was not going to be part of the team to implement it. However, with caution in mind- while everyone else is running around the hospital, I have been quarantined to my office to work on support and training documents for the nursing staff. So here I sit at my laptop, listening to my iPod, and surfing the DIS Boards!!! Now THAT is taking it easy!!!

Can't wait to jump the mail-man today.. you know... just in case!! I can see his face now when he see's me running towards the mail truck...

Thanks. Hopefully they send them to me and not the TA at AAA. He makes me come into the office (about 10 miles away. What a waste of gas) to pick them up and then explain everything to me (that I already know. Come on, this is my 3rd cruise!). The big problem is that since I am already there I tend to look around in the store and end up finding something I absolutely MUST HAVE.

So, hopefully, they come to the house in the next few days!
