So Let me clean up the image today. I didn't realize it was so small. it was only 72 dpi. I will also post up the green name tags I made to use on the mickey head in case you're interested in using it.

I LOVE the t-shirt idea. I have another idea what about bracelets or something, that way we can know who each other are at anytime even when we are in bathing suits or at dinner or something?

Callie, I love this idea! Anyone got a hook up for us on this?

Well on our previous cruise we used lanyards and like a badge at the bottom with the logo and our names at the bottom. But we had to organize and collect money and such. We had a few people volunteer to donate like $20 or so, so that not we didn't have to worry about each person giving exactly how much they needed to get. Now, that's alot of work. But I was thinking, I guess we can all print out graphics to but inside our badge holder with our family disname and real name. That way everyone gets/has their own lanyards and then just puts/clips this into a little badge holder at the end. Let me think about this one.

Another idea is to make those silicon bracelets, but once again we'd have to collect money .... I took a quick look and for 300 adult bracelets (24cents each total of $72 so maybe eight/nine people to donate $10 each) http://24hourwristbands.com/

Do anything fun this weekend?

Well.... I decided that my recovery from surgery 2.5 wks ago wasn't exciting enough so Sunday I decided to start hemorrhaging - and ended up in the hospital, just coming home last night. I am now on STRICT bedrest (thank god for my laptop) for the next 3-4 days and then I can get up to eat dinner at the table! Seriously- it was the scariest moments of my life and as I'm laying in the emergency bleeding to death all I kept saying to the doctor was "fix me- I have a cruise at the end of May!" How pathetic is that???

So now I lie here propped up like an invalid - thank GOD for the DIS boards to keep me busy and 'connected'!!!!!!

OK - now off to catch up on our thread! I have so much to do and can't do any of it so I might as well plan, make lists, and stuff like that. My FE stuff is all downstairs- and I can't go down to get it, but since I'm now out of work for a few more weeks I have plenty of time to get it all together!

So sorry about your latest ordeal, I can jsut imagine how scary it was for you. Happy to see you are home and on the road to recovery.

I would have been saying the same thing to the doc, not pathetic at all...

Get plenty of rest and follow the doctors orders..... and before you know it we will be on the Dream.

Someone suggested we wear the tee shirts on the sea day. I think that would be a great idea. Maybe even have a quick meet with the group to get a big picture in the shirts.

Okay so make sure I understand this correctly.
Use the cool graphic thingy that Virginia made to make tshirts if we want to. Wear them on sea day.

Make a badge thingy to hang on our (provided by ourselves) lanyard.... what graphic are we using for that one? The same thing as the tshirt?

Hope everyone is having a great day. My 3 yr old fell asleep on the couch (before having her lunch) watching a movie...which means my regular nap time is not gonna happen I bet!

We will have 2 extra lanyards , maybe 4 if any of the newbies need them. They will give us 2 at check in and we will have 2 in our DVC gift and maybe 2more in the return cruiser gift bag. We very seldom use ours. I use a waterproof case.

I can't remember who posted the pic of the name badge. Could you please post a blank one and I will add it to the roll call so that everyone can find it easily.

Denise-- I hope you feel better soon and try to enjoy the bed rest. I know it gets hard but just relax. I was on bed rest for 3 months while pregnant with my 7 yr old and it was so hard. Now, I would love to have a couple days like that!

I would love to contribute on wristbands. I am not doing the FE so this way I can still be a part of something with the group. We are 1st time cruisers but I cheated and bought us lanyards from ebay, so we are covered there.

Denise, so sorry to hear you are down and out

I have been home with my 3 yr old since Monday (tonsils,tubes, and adenoids) and we have been looking at lots of pictures of the Dream and Castaway Cay!! I keep telling her this will all be worth it when you are strong and healthy for our trip.

She is feeling a little better this afternoon, and has been helping me with my FE's!!

Hopefully tomorrow brings a better day for both you and my little Anna!

I HATE lanyards!! Don't get me wrong- they are VERY useful on the ship. But I hate them at CC - they leave tan lines! Seriously, I do wear mine while on the ship because it's so convenient for my KTTW card, but it's stashed when I am at CC. That's why I like the jellyband bracelet idea - wearable at CC and while still a 'tan line risk'- much better a small line around your wrist than around your neck!

Thanks for all of the well wishes for my recovery. I just can't believe this happened to me. I have never EVER been 'down' after any surgery I've had. This is knocking me on my keister!!! BIG TIME!
