DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

40 degrees & up is motorcycle weather. Now all we need to do is get rid of this snow & ice. Had the bikes running last Sunday. Have them on trickle chargers all winter so that the first day it's nice enough we can get them out & go for a ride. Can't wait! Other than the cruise, this is one of the things I am looking forward to in Spring.

This is how we are with camping. Only we do like to wait until solid 50's to de-winterize. We already have a few big trips planned for next month. Nothing like being outside in spring!

I finally found a stateroom report for my room category- it's actually 3 reports from the room right next to mine so I'm assuming all the good about that room (since mine is the adjoining room) is all applicable to the room we have!!!

And from what we can tell, we do NOT have any obstruction on our verandah- the room next to us does.

Wish those room reports had pictures- as many as we've seen, I STILL WANT MORE!

It is about 30 families. I am participating, but not on the list and I think another person recently posted they would like to participate. I'm going to try to start working on my FE this weekend.

I have a VERY IMPORTANT question for everyone on this thread participating in our FE Exchange.

My husband's cousin and her 5 yr old son are cruising with us. She's recently divorced so we invited her to come along and share a room with my mother in law, knowing she'd never take her son on a cruise on her own. This will be her very first Disney cruise - She does not participate in DIS boards and has no clue about the FE 'tradition'. We are participating- which means that my kids will be blurting all about it (it excites them to find a special surprise in their FE). I don't want him to feel left out - but I also dont want to tell her because she's someone who will feel obligated to particpate and then totally stress out about it (seriously- she's a very anxious person).

So my plan is to make her a FE for her door and surprise him. I'm going to bring extra goodies for him, but, I was wondering if a few others wouldn't mind dropping off a surprise to him at some point during our exchange even though they aren't exchanging.

Please let me know your thoughts- for me it's all about making this magical for the kids and I certainly don't want this little boy to feel 'slighted'.

Also- who's ever maintaining our list- can you please note that one of my children is highly allergic to nuts (peanuts and tree nuts) so if candy is being given out, we're more into 'lolly pops, skittles, and starburst" than anything that could contain nuts (mostly chocolate). Plain cholate coins are fine too.

I also need to make sure my correct room number is on the list because at some point we changed room cats and I'm not sure if that was before or after the FE list was initiated!!!

We would be more than happy to drop off a few things. We never go on the FE list, but we always bring gifts to drop off. For us it is always about spreading the magic too. We never drop off candy, between allergies, possible diabetic reasons , parental restrictions, etc... there are enough goodies on the ship. anyway....

I'll gladly add your nephew to the list. What cabin# will he be in?

I'll post his cabin number as we get closer. Started figuring out my FE gifts today which is what started me thinking about it.

Thanks for the link to the list (even if we have new people)... it will least give me a good start on adults vs. kids / girls vs. boys!!!!

I have a list I put in an excel spreadsheet. I made it based on Virginia's list and postings on here. If a name was given - the name is on the list.
