I'm wondering if this is something that Jordak could help with. His threads have the most incredible artwork that can be personalized. He did 4 designs for me for our last cruise and I printed them onto magnets. Our door looked incredible!

I thought I had posted a message last night but it is not here.
I started working on a design...so far what's done is:

Dream sailing in water. I put a dark, starry night in with a moon in the corner. I added fireworks above the ship. It looks good so far!

Just need to know what the name of our group is. ????
Also thought of having Mickey and Minnie dressed up New Years outfits...

Tell me what you think so far.

Do we have a group name? I'm thinking some kind of banner below the picture with New Year's Eve Dreamin' with the word FIRST in front of it at an angle.

The creative juices are flowing; must be time for me to go lie down.

That sounds great Denise! We never did have a logo.

We've been working on creating the "group". There is a roll call that was formed by info already posted on the thread. You can add/delete any information that you would like.

On the roll call page, there is also a list of those who expressed interest in the FE and there is a list of those who are arriving early in case there is a pre-cruise meetup at Downtown Disney.

Denise is working on a logo...and I can't wait to see it!

Laura had her juices flowing yesterday and came up with a clever name that I think sums it up pretty well.

Thanks...did it sorta fast so I'm not real sure about the size.
May play some more with it and see if I can make it so it can be a bigger size. Right now it is about 4 1/2 by 3 1/2. It should have been bigger.
Just learning photoshop...I'll see what I can do. The picture of the Dream wasn't the best quality to begin with.

2nd Unfortunately, we will not be able to use it. Due to scheduling conflicts we have canceled the New Years cruise, but we have rebooked on the December 18th cruise.

I hope you all have a great time bringing in 2012.

trying to figure out how to re-size it so it's not too big but you can still read it....maybe the words need to be larger?

I fixed some problems in the logo as well as making the size of the words larger. I hope this reads better.
The one in my sig is a smaller version.
Let me know if this is better....

We currently have two staterooms boooked as all four of our parents have shown interest in cruising with the kids. This will be our ninth Disney cruise and the first with our daughter in college. I sure hope we have enough money left to pay for our cruise after her first year.

I need your opinion. We are planning a pre or post cruise DisneyWorld vacation. I realize that the parks would be less crowded post cruise but we really wanted to be at the parks during Christmas. Anyone have an opinion?

Good morning Scott.

I am doing a Pre-Disney visit. I think it will be a relaxing end to a great vacation. Christmas at Disney and then New Years on the Cruise. I am arriving at AKV on Christmas Day and then the next day moving on to BLT until cruise day. After running around the parks and going to the hotels to see the Christmas decorations, I am going to need to wind down. It will be just my son (11) and I.

we arrive (hopefully) a day before the cruise and will do a post stay at WDW. Still checking airfare. Want to use miles and they are double the normal for the week after Christmas! That is all they have released yet. I check every day and have called too.
Christmas time is wonderful at WDW and Disneyland....

We will be there pre-cruise also. We have to fly home the day the ship docks. We will go to DTD while we are there to see the decorations and such and probably won't do the parks. Having done the parks at Christmas before, the crowds were too much for us. A good option for us would be MVMCP, if we are there early enough. We did it 3 years ago and had a great time.
