Disney Dream 12/29/2011

I fixed some problems in the logo as well as making the size of the words larger. I hope this reads better.
The one in my sig is a smaller version.
Let me know if this is better....

:thumbsup2 It looks real good to me. The only thought that I have was that maybe one of the Mickeys could be a Minnie? I thought there was a suggestion earlier about there being a formal Mickey and Minnie. I know there a thousands of graphics to go through. I can help try to find a formal Minnie if you like :)

Thank you so much for all the work you have done on this Denise. It really looks awesome.

I used to live in Orlando and, with lots of friends who were Cast Members, I would never suggest anyone visit the parks on Christmas Day.

Christmas is Disney's busiest day of the year; we would often hear reports (both from friends and on the news) that they would close the parks at 11am because maximum capacity would be reached.

I don't like crowds at the best of times; at max capacity, I would really not like them. But still, it's got to be your own decision. Lots of people enjoy crowding into Times Square on New Year's Eve (not me and I grew up in NYC) and that popularity has never died down.

I love the logo. Only problem for us is that we are not doing the double dip. Otherwise, you've done a great job for your group:goodvibes

Nice photo of the castle Denise. I would love to put that banner for the NYs cruise on my signature. Kinda big though.

I think we are going to plan a post cruise trip to Disney World. The parks should be less crowded, airfare back home should be cheaper and we will be able to do more while there.

I can make it smaller but I don't know how small it needs to be. I'm afraid then you can't read it. Do you know how small it should be? :confused3

Added Minnie to the logo and made some more adjustments..
Here is the large size link:

If you just right click on the image and save as it should work...

hope this helps....

Love it. Can you do it special for me without the double dip???

Am I missing something?

If you're on the same cruise as us, you're on a Double Dip, whether you get off the boat or not.

This particular cruise is a Double Dip to Castaway Cay. Not to be confused with a back to back cruise. :thumbsup2

Thank you Denise. It is a wonderful logo  I will add them to the Roll Call page.

You are NOT an idiot. Sometimes this terminology gets to all of us.

I'm new to the boards. My wife may be lurking here I think. We are planning on being on this one with our 2 kids ages 9 and 7 B/G respectively. It is our first cruise but have a friend here at work who is an old hand at them . She suggested I look for meet up info here and about a "fish extender". I see what they are but any hints as to the types of things people bring to pass along. Our Family are big Disney Nerds and love every minute of it. :wizard:pirate::yay: in anticipation of our departure and the fun and magic we will all have.

A big :welcome: to you and your family. The DisBoards have a wealth of information about Disney Cruise Line.

I have added your name to the Roll Call and the FE list. Here is a thread where people share their FE ideas: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1980639 This should help greatly. The FE explanation is here: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=28549569&postcount=61 and gives some ideas on gifts. Post any questions, lots of helpful people up here!

Hi All!

We booked this cruise while on the Magic over New Year this year. Everyone had such a great time I think we're going to do it again! My DD (4) said "why does this boat have so many parties"..... We had the sail away, pirate, NYE and then on 1/1/11 sailed along side the Dream and watched their fireworks. It was such a great way to ring in the New Year as a family.

We are DH, DW, DD (10) and DD (5). We're from the west coast so we kept the kids on our time zone, had late dinner, stayed up late and slept in.

We're back on the Magic in June in the Med. Hopefully DH won't pull the plug on this one..... A lot of Disney in 12 months for him....

Welcome aboard!!! As it gets closer to the cruise there will be more activity here. You will love the Disney cruises. Your kids will have so much fun! Our daughter was 9 on her first cruise and loved it. She is 21 now and still loves going on them.:)

Welcome aboard. Nice to know someone who has been on a NYE cruise. Can't wait for all the fun. You will love the MED. We did it in '07. One of our favorite cruises. Ties with the Baltic we did last year!!! Have a great time...:thumbsup2

Hi Sara and Welcome! Sounds like you had an awesome New Years this year! I think a cruise every 6 months or so is great!

I've added you to roll call. Let me know if you think you might want to participate in the FE and a possible meet-up for those who are arriving a bit early. Nothing is in stone yet.
