DW and I decided to extend our Christmas cruise next year by doing a B2B starting on the 19th. We're booking both on our cruise next week. Hope to see all of you there next year.

My family is doing this cruise too. We are calling it the cruise to the end of the world. lol. This will be the second cruise on the Dream for DH and I. It will be the kids first time on the Dream. Very excited for it!!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

We're doing our first Dream cruise this Sunday. The first three were on Wonder so we're really excited to see how well DCL has done it with the new ship.

We are doing the exact same thing! This will be our first B2B, however will be our 5th & 6th Disney Cruise. DH and I just got back from a solo (sans kids) Disney Dream cruise a couple weeks ago. The Dream is so pretty! Fabulous!!

We would love to meet everyone and get on the FE list when it comes out

I just booked our family for this cruise! We've done the 4 night Bahamas twice and Western Carribean once, back in 2004-8. After a 4 year forced hiatus from Disney, we booked this cruise and a follow on 3 night stay at WDW as the last vacation for our family before the kids start growing up and going off to college. We have 8 kids, 17 down to 2, and have booked 2 Verandah rooms (huge luxury, as we usually book inside cabins), so excited!! I used to be on the Dis boards back then, so happy to be back!

Ahh, Your description explains that. Retired Navy? We are active Army, so no chance of cruising as much as you, we're lucky if school and work schedules allow us to go as often as every 2-4 years! But we hope to as soon as we get a few kids grown up and out the door! My oldest is 17 and ever since we moved to Fort Meade wants to go to USNA.

We are booked on the 19th too! It is the second half of our b2b, we are also doing the 16th. Already hunting for FE's for the family :cool1:

Sounds like the ship is really filling up. We tried to downgrade our cabins to 3 inside cabins with 4 people each, no change in total # of passengers or ages, and DCL has closed the cabins to no more than 3 per room. Frustrating, as we don't really want to spend the $$$ on the verandah rooms. We'll keep trying to switch, maybe around the 75 day mark when some people change their reservations.

Hey Ya'll! :wave2: I am Lori and this is my family's first cruise ever. I have 3 boys who will be 15, 12 and 4 when we cruise. I am going to sign up for the FE and look forward to getting to know all of you as we countdown together. I am sooooo excited!! I hope I don't drive my poor family nuts before December, lol.

My family was getting a bit annoyed for something that is "so far away", and my 4 year old son is getting confused that we're not already on the boat. I did buy all Mickey decorations for the downstairs bathroom, red white and black explosion! I have decided to tone it down a bit, at least until September. I have two WDW cookbooks, and each month on the 19th I plan to cook Mickey-related foods. Didn't think of it in time to do much for January, but I did buy Pillsbury sugar cookes with pink mickey ears on them (supposed to be for Valentine's day). This month I think I'll make Palo souffle and the wild mushroom risotto from Palo. Just once a month to get the kids thinking about it. In the meantime, I'm shopping at disney.com for our matching cruisewear!

We are going on this cruise too! This is our first cruise ever and I'm soo excited!!!:yay: It will be me, dh, our kids who will be 2, 5 and 16. Woohoooo I can't wait!!:goodvibes

Anyone else excited we finally broke the 300 mark??? LOL

We just booked for this cruise. We added the cruise onto our OMDD sweepstakes trip that we just won. Can't wait for December to get here!

Yes! always excited for that! tomorrow is the 105th day for my girls' weekend June cruise, so I'm getting my plans in order and hoping to get a Palo reservation, not sure how that will go on a 2 night weekend getaway, but I'm trying! Still working on every 19th of the month having a "disney cruise day". January I made Mickey cookies, February I redid my downstairs bathroom in Target's new Mickey decor, I think I'll make some wild mushroom risotto from the Palo menu and souffle if I have the time.

We're getting closer! I am always excited when I see our Fish Extender list getting more families on it. :)
Has anyone been on the Dream before? This will be our first time, we have done the Wonder and the Magic in the past and loved them both!

haven't been on the Dream yet, but my neighbor has and loved it of course.

Can't believe it, but I DID get a Palo dinner AND high tea for my summer 2 night getaway weekend cruise! I wasn't sure how full it would get, with only two nights and one day available, but my friend is a gold member, so we got to book 15 days earlier. After December I'll be gold too. I picked high tea, because as far as I remember, the 4 night cruises don't have it. Is that still true? Things probably have changed with the addition of new ships and itineraries, but I saw high tea and snatched a reservation.
