Disney Dooney & Burke Purse

My neighbor and close friend just got back from a week at Disney World. While they were gone I watched their two dogs. One of which was ticked off that they left and pooped in the house the whole time they were gone. I have two dogs of my own and I wasn't horribly upset, I know things happen.

Soooo to thank me they just gave me the large Dooney and Burke Disney purse. My jaw DROPPED! I had seen threads about these and know how expensive they are. I had planned to buy myself the wristlet when I go in March.

I just can't believe how generous they were. I told them really the dogs weren't that big a problem. I was so excited I just had to share with someone who would actually care!

I got the white one. I usually don't carry a purse so now I have to figure out what to put it in. My iPhone, my Kindle...uhmmmm I have enough room for an iPad. Guess I'll need to get one of those when they come out!

That's awesome!!!! I made the mistake of showing my wife those purses after seeing pictures of them here on the boards. We were at Downtown Disney the next day. I gotta admit, they are pretty nice looking; and definitely feel like they'll hold up.

I must confess I have never owned a Dooney & Burke. My daughter has a small Coach purse and a Dooney and Burke wallet but I have never been willing to spend that kind of money on myself. I'm excited to start using it.

There are some interesting threads on these purses on some of the other boards. Like some of them sell or more money on ebay, depending on how the pattern is laid out on the bag, apparently on some bags Tinkerbell is covered up and on some she isn't and the more desirable bag has Minnie on it, I guess the first ones that came out didn't have Minnie or something, ect....you would have to be a purse person to appreciate all the nuances though.

I had the same problem watching my sister's cat while she was on vacation. The cat kept having accidents on my sister's bed instead of going in the litter box, no matter how much I cleaned the box. It must be a common issue for pet owners going on vacation.

I had the same problem watching my sister's cat while she was on vacation. The cat kept having accidents on my sister's bed instead of going in the litter box, no matter how much I cleaned the box. It must be a common issue for pet owners going on vacation.

I felt bad for their dogs because they don't have a fence. So unless I was there to let the dogs out there were stuck inside all day. I would try to let them out for a while every 3-4 hours but I think one of the dogs was just ticked off!

Kaligal...from everything I've read they are only available at Disney World and Disneyland. I had planned to picked up the wristlet when I am there in March. My friend said the only time they saw them was at their resort gift shop. They stayed at the Yacht Club. They didn't see them at Downtown Disney at all. I had heard they were selling out quickly.

They had them at MK at the jewelers and DTD at Trendz when we were there in Dec/Jan. My daughter and I both got the wristlet. They are soooooo cute and everyone comments on them.

Could you tell me about the wristlet? Would it make a nice wallet inside this purse? Or is it more of a purse itself?
