I've done this a few times myself


I use to be a huge fan of chocolate. I grew up near Hershey, PA. It was always fun to head over to Chocolate World, ride the ride, then get the free chocolate. It use to be only Nestle chocolate caused the reaction, so I was fine there. Then came Cadburry chocolate, it was so hard to not eat Cadburry Cream eggs at Easter time. Oh how I use to love them!! About 10 years ago, it became all dark or milk chocolate, but I could still eat white chocolate. Now I can't eat white chocolate either. But I no longer crave chocolate anymore. So I guess that's helpful!

I would have a really hard time going gluten free or sugar free! I'm glad you are careful when you have your occasional chocolate.

We headed to Downtown Disney to do some shopping for my niece and nephew. My mom was looking for Winnie the Pooh throws to give them. We found them, and sticker shock got us. At Christmas time, these were 20-something. Now they were $34.95! They are so soft!

If you see these again, would you take a picture for me? I searched for a Pooh blanket and had no luck.


Sorry i don't have many comments on the Starwars stuff. I have to admit, i recognized maybe a half a dozen names out of who you mentioned. i'm happy though that you guys got to experience so much and that anakin had such great times!

What an awesome time it looks like you guys have had for SWW! Benjamin has looked at all your pictures with me (repeatedly!) and swears we HAVE to plan our next trip for SWW. We both liked the parade pics - especially Goofy.

The 2 Anakins looked like they had an amazing visit - that's awesome that big Anakin realize he needed to get down to little Anakin's level. Awesome pictures.

Mace Windu looked like a great interaction as well - he was really checking out that light saber!

50's PTC sounds like a super fun time! I debated between that and Sci-Fi on our last trip and ultimately went with Sci-Fi b/c Benjamin really wanted to eat there plus I don't think he or Buddy would enjoy the ribbing - they're the people who absolutely don't want me mentioning their birthdays at restaurants for fear of being sung to! But it sure does sound like you guys had a great visit - I totally would have gotten in trouble for the elbows.

That would be awesome if you could plan a vacation around SWW! Benjamin would probably love it!!

I prefer Sci-Fi to 50's. I like the menu better at Sci-Fi. And I love, love, love the cheesecake with treats!! It was nice to try 50's PTC. I'm sure we will go back again.

I'm sorry. We had a wonderful time, thanks! We hadn't originally planned to be in that area of NC. Our original plans included heading back to PA before heading south, which would have taken us down 95. But we ended up changing plans a couple months ago and heading south from Cleveland. Judy was instrumental in helping up find a place to stay for the night!

It's a very comfy blanket. They did go up in price since we bought them in December.

We have that green Pooh, a red Tink, a brown Mickey/Minnie, a light blue castle, a navy castle, and 2 Christmas castles.

I don't like the Christmas castle ones. A friend called me from Disney and said she could get them at a great price. So I told her to get me two. They are still super soft, but the castle takes up the whole entire blanket and it is not a pretty picture of the castle.

Checking in today from St. Augustine. We have been on the road for nearly 2 weeks, and are on the final leg of the journey. Over 2500 miles driven! Next time, we fly!!

You know it!! At least from Charlotte to St. Augustine, Anakin slept most of the way. We only had to make 2 stops. The smoke was soooo thick in Georgia into Florida. It got better once we got to Jax. I'm ready to get home. Having some Disney withdrawal, lol. Anakin starts swim lessons on Monday. Goes to the orthodontist on Tuesday morning. Hopefully after that we can hit a park for a couple hours. It's so hot here, not sure how long he'll hold up. I think it will be Epcot, lots of airconditioning there!

Ok, sounds good! There are some table service meals that aren't too badly priced. Biergarten, the specials at Le Chef's de France, the Plaza.

We mostly do counter service or off site fast food. Though our meal at TGI Fridays was less than our meal at Cosmic Rays.

The last 2 nights, we ate at Red Lobster. Their $15 full course meal deal is great! I had the habinero shrimp and citrus grilled shrimp each time, came with a salad, soup, dessert and unlimited garlic bread. I am going to have to start back up on weight watchers once I get home!

Today we are going to mix it up a bit, we are going to the Santa Maria restaurant. The food is not that good there, service is extremely slow, but the kids love that you feel fish while you eat. There are little trap doors by each window to open to feed the fish. The food was lousy last time, we ended up feeding that to the fish. Hopefully today will be a better experience!

As I am sitting here typing next to a sleeping Anakin, he is twitching every now and then. Seems to be his finger on his right hand and his left leg. It's not as bad as it was in the car. We got home late yesterday afternoon. Going to post on the PRT about the motels/hotels we stayed at along I-95 and I-77. They were really nice places.

Being petite has it's advantages and disadvantages. Now I just have to shed all the pounds I gained over our 2 week journey and the name and my clothing will fit much better!!

We are happy! Goofy is working today and wants to go to Epcot after work, weather permitting. I'm not going to argue! I think the 3 of us (Goofy, Anakin and myself) are in Disney withdrawal. Grumpy has other plans on tap. I think he is in friend withdrawal.
