Stopped by the art store, and saw the picture that I got for Mother's Day, which I still need to find a place to hang.

I really liked this Dumbo pic!

We were able to catch the Move it, shake it "parade" as we walked though the stores.

And we arrived just in time for our 12:55pm ADR at The Plaza!! The Mayor opened the door for us. After we were seated he announced the 100th table seated and that they would get a free dessert! Chef Ken was working too!

I got the tuna, Goofy got the turkey sandwich, and Anakin got the grilled chicken.

I saw these sconces, that I had never noticed before. The eyes are a bit freaky.

Although I hate that it rained so much while you were at Epcot, but love how Anakin made use of the "rainy weather."

I showed the Dumbo picture to Mark. I think I best leave my credit card at home this trip.

It has been raining every day. Our yard finally looks green again!

You know...you better let the room key in the room too

The fries are very good! It was just so hot and humid out yesterday. We ended up not eating very many fries. Anakin just ate the apples, grapes and his Mickeylodean. He ate a couple bites of chicken and left his fries. I only ate a couple fries too. And Goofy drank his meal. He drank so much that he didn't save room to eat. I even downed 2 glasses of water in no time.

Leaving the Plaza Restaurant, I spotted some new balloons! TINK!!!

Next up, SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!

In the past, Anakin has been through the Splash Mountain line twice and each time chickened out as we got to the boats. This time we bribed him with a toy at POTC if he rode, with no tears in line. Told him if he hated the ride, then we would never ask him to go on it again. We knew he would love it!

He needed help out of the boat.

As we were getting him out of the boat, a familiar looking man and a whole buch of people were coming through the exit to enter the boats. As soon as we heard the familiar looking man speak, we knew it was Eddie Murphy!! He said "hey" and he and his group took up 3 boats.

We were pretty excited to run into him as we got off the ride. We went up to the bridge, to double check that it was him. I took 3 pics, but only these 2 came out. Other people starting whipping out their cameras and taking pics too.

I do like the idea of the ongoing trip report, we go so much that I could do that too!! I just post pics on FB!! LOL I need to go back and read from the beginning. After I walk around Epcot on Monday, I'll be in my chair all day tuesday, so that'll be a good time to read!! We'll be hopping tomorrow too...Sami goes home on saturday, so we're going one last hurrah day for her!

I stopped posting the pics on FB, my friends and family don't understand what we see in Disney and why we go so often. They just don't "get it", lol.

I was thinking about joining in on Monday with Anakin. I could sure use the exercise. But he has a class at 9; we wouldn't make it to Epcot until around noon.

After Anakin's first ride ever on Splash Mountain, we headed over to the Jungle Cruise. If you remember, back in March he could not go down steps. He has come a long way since March. He is doing great at going down steps as long as he takes his time. Unfortunately, taking your time at Disney seems to bring out the bad side of some guests.

We got to the boat and I entered it first, so I could help him from the front to get him in. Goofy had his back. The cm was trying really hard to keep the boat along the side so he could step in. He got on that top step and froze. He couldn't catch his balance, and was scared to step to the next step. Instead he stepped to the side and was standing on the seat, with me holding him tight. He was still afraid to step down. Goofy stepped in the boat and lifted him off the seat. The people behind us were very sweet and understanding. But the people entering the boat from the middle were not. They jumped over the middle, while the skipper is announcing not to cross the middle. And sat where we would have sat.

Note to self: do not take Anakin on the Jungle Cruise when it's just the 2 of us!!

The ride was great. The skipper was particularly good!

Anakin was beginning to feel uncomfortable in his wet clothing. I was going to change him into dry clothes before the Jungle Cruise, but it was so hot out, I thought the wetness would be better for him.

After the Jungle Cruise he wanted to go back to Splash Mountain for one last ride. So we headed over there. He was beginning to mind the heat, so we knew we were near the end of our day at MK.

This time he got to sit in the front of the boat. He was soooo excited. He wore his hat because he didn't want to get his face splashed. It has a fitted strap, so I knew it wasn't going anywhere like littlebelle's cap did a few years ago.

I will post the picture we bought as soon as I figure out how to scan it and upload it. By the looks of the picture, you would never think he enjoyed the ride. He looks scared to death! Like he was ready to jump out of the boat.

After reading the Best Treats thread, I decided I wanted to try a Sweet Creamcheese Pretzel. So we headed over to the launching pad. This time, we were all soaked! But the coolness of the water felt good! So I didn't change Anakin's clothes, and he was surprisingly ok with it.

Instead of eating first, we hopped on Buzz.

He wanted to ride with Daddy, so I was able to try to get a good score. I think I did ok!

We headed over to the Launching Pad and I got my treat!

I was suprised. What I pictured in my head, was not what I was handed. I was expecting it to look like a pretzle, complete with brown exterior and salt. I thought salt and sweet would be a great combination! There was no salt. The exterior looked like it had been rolled in cinnamon, but it wasn't. There was no cinnamon flavor at all.

I broke it apart. Gave Anakin a piece and he hated it! Pretzles are not suppose to taste like that! DH didn't like it either. He is not a big cream cheese fan.

I enjoyed it. But it was not the kind of treat I could just sit and eat the whole thing. It seemed a bit dry to me, and I needed a beverage to help it go down.

By this time, Anakin was feeling too hot again. He said he felt dizzy. So we knew we needed to cool him down AND get him to the car.

I did not know about the ice cream sandwiches at the bakery until I read the Best Treats thread. We decided that would help cool him down to eat that in the air conditioning. The thread said it had 4 scoops of ice cream, and you get to choose your own cookie. Anakin did get to choose his own cookies. He chose chocolate chip. The cm put 2 giant scoops of icecream on it. Then smooshed it together. It was way to big for him to eat by himself. I would have loved to try it, but I get sick from chocolate. So Goofy had the honor of splitting it with him.

Once cooled off, we headed out of the bakery and walked through the shops to the candy store. Bought orange creamsicle fudge for Grumpy and a vanilla cupake with pink icing for me. Then headed out of the park to the TTC. We took the monorail back to be in the air conditioning. Walked to the car and headed home. Anakin fell asleep immediately! We were home by 6pm-ish and Grumpy loved his fudge. I nursed my pretzle and finished it at home. Not sure if I will try another one any time soon. Since it's summer, Friar's nook should be opened, and I'd love to try those chili, cheese chips again soon!!

Next up...tesing my new point and shoot camera.

The picture of the Great Goofini has Anakin so excited!!

I'm pretty psyched about the Beauty and the Beast Dinner. How nice it will be for Belle's story time to be indoors. At least I hope it will be inside!! Now they just need to get Rapunzel indoors!!

He was very scared to try something new. We are glad he tried it and liked it!

I wonder who that guy is? I didn't recognize him. He looked a bit ticked that we were taking pics.

We bribed Anakin to ride it. Told him he could pick out a toy at POTC. He began to walk towards Splash MT and started crying, but still wanted the toy. We told him, we are not going to force him on there, but no toy unless he rides it. He thought the hill looks too big. We told him it does look big, but it's not as high as it looks.

He rode the Coal Cracker at Hershey Park a few years ago and we told him it's just like that hill. So we walked towards Splash Mt. again. Thankfully there was no wait in the FP line and we walked right in and right on a boat, so there was no time for 2nd guessing. The 2nd time we rode, there was quite a line.

He picked out a toy gun at POTC. You can see his toy choice sitting on the tray with his icecream sandwich.

Yesterday we went to Epcot and Typhoon Lagoon. We had both parks almost to ourselves!! It was an EMH day at both DHS and MK, so we decided on Epcot.

Sum of all Thrills had a 15 minute wait at 2:45pm! We noticed this as we cut through Innoventions on our way to another lunch at Biergarten! Spaceship Earth's queue was no wait, just walk right on in.

I made our ADR in the car on the way to WDW. I asked what was available around 3pm and almost every restaurant was available! Even a 4:05 resie for Le Cellier was available. But we decided on Biergarten rather than trying a new one. We have a resie for Le Cellier in August when we stay at CSR, we will try new then.

Our original plan for the day was pin trading at Epcot then hop over to TL. But the cheese and crackers I snacked on before we left the house did not fill me up. I was hungry, Anakin was hungry and Goofy was very thirsty. Grumpy had some school work to finish up then went to a movie with a friend instead of hanging with us.

Picture overload to come. It was very nice having Biergarten to ourselves and TL to ourselves too!

Everyone seemed to be at DHS yesterday. We got there around 6pm, and left around 8 before the big thunderstorm got there. We had to drive thru it on the way home.

If you want to meet us at Epcot tomorrow after the class, I'll pm you my cell # so you can see where we're at when you get there!! We've done that with many people before!! Then I can explain 'why' I need to walk a little better in person
