Hi guys,

Just a quick query:

I'm lucky enough to be going back to the Poly (my favourite resort!!) for two weeks next August. We are taking our 11 year old cousin with us (it'll be her first time to WDW) and were hoping to make her trip as magical as possible..

My question is: how can you obtain Disney Dollars in the UK? We're not adverse to paying the shipping;we'd like to get some for her as a Christmas present (we're planning a small bundle of Disney delights for her!)..

Thanks in advance for your help,

Sofi xx :flower:

I would be interested to find out as well! Oh, there are no Disney stores in the Channel Islands so that's not an option... :sad2:

In the past you have not been able to buy Disney Dollars anywhere in the UK. I am not 100% sure but I still think this is the case.

Michelle is right I am afraid. But!!

They are just launching a WDW card that you can "prepay" in advance any amount you want and then use that to pay for things until the credit runs out. I think it starts from 1st August. I would guess they will ship abroad as I bought a Disneyland card the other day and they offered to ship to the UK. I think there was an extra charge but it was small ($3??)

I would think these are a brilliant option for those who want Disney dollars but can't get them :goodvibes

From All Ears Net:

Beginning August 1, 2005, Walt Disney World will offer a Shopping & Dining Gift Card for use at select Walt Disney World merchandise and food and beverage locations. You'll be able to purchase the gift cards for amounts of $5 up to $1,500 at certain locations throughout the World. Recipients will be able to use the gift cards just like cash at the specified locations.

Do you know anyone else going to WDW before August as you can ask someone to get them for you.

We gave Disney Dollars as Xmas presents to our friends children who were going in May. We were away the October before and got them on that visit.

Guess what they forgot to take them with them!!!
