Disney Dollars?

Do the accrued rewards dollars expire when the Disney Rewards card expires? My card expires end of 12/12, but the Visa online reward dollars report the dollars expire much later, like 2017. What gives, do the reward dollars transfer to the new card, and do I have to apply for the new card, or is it automatically renewed?

You must transfer the dollars from your account to the card. You can transfer as few as 10 dollars or as much as your entire balance.

If you have transferred the Rewards Dollars to the Rewards Card they will expire when the card does. If you leave them in your account they will expire on the date indicated there. So never move dollars to your card unless you are sure you will use them up before the card expires.

Once the card expires it will not automatically renew. You need to call or go online to request a new one. You will have to transfer a minimum of 10 to the new card at that time. We always transfer just the 10 and then go online just before our trip to transfer the rest.

If you have $$$ on rewards or your card which you need to do something with, you can always credit them to your dues, even if you haven't received a bill yet.
