This may sound stupid but where can I purchase Disney Dollars before our trip

I pick up my Disney Dollar at my local mall's Disney Store.

Yes, Disney Dollars are only avaliable at Disney stores. I think you used to be able to buy them online, but not anymore.

We went to Disney during our DD 8th birthday and we secretly ask the family members who give her money for her bithday to go to the Disney Store and put her birthday money(disney dollars) in her card. When she open her cards at Disney she was so surprised and excited she had her own Disney Dollars to spend there. Also I believe you can exchange them back at the resorts or Disney Store for everyday money if you have some left over and don't want to use you disney dollars at the mall stores or at the parks.

Disney Store - we are going to Disney for Easer (day after) so I just picked some up and the Easter Bunny is going to be putting them in their baskets. They are going to love it. They come in $1, $5, $10.

I don't believe Disney Dollars can be exchanged for actual cash after they are purchased, however you can use them to buy merchandise from the stores.

You can purchase Disney Dollars at any Disney store. Disney Dollars are a great idea for children and if you don't use all of them you have a nice souvenir!

I purchase Disney Dollars at my Disney store at my local mall. My kids get $10a day in Disney dollars to spend - they can spend it that day or save it for bigger gifts toward the end of our stay. They love being able to manage their own money.

Disney dollars come in denominations of $10.00, $5.00, and $1.00. They look like dollar bills, but have pictures of Mickey, Donald, Minnnie on them..They are very cute, and can be used just like cash at the parks and in the Disney Stores. Our Disney Store closed last year, so I had to make the 45 min. trek to get some. I'm planning on putting them in my kids Easter Baskets since we'll be leaving on our trip the week after.The cashier said that they were low and didn't expect another shipment until after Easter. I think a lot of people have the same idea.

I got mine from the Disney Store Outlet. The first time I went I had no idea that they sold the dollars and ended up buying a regular gift card. Then someone sent my daughter the dollars and told me they had gotten them from a Disney Store. I went back to the outlet store and asked for them. They don't really display them at the outlet (not sure about the ones in the mall though). If I hadn't asked for them I would never have guessed that they sold them.

I remember these from way back when I was in high school and took a trip to Disney with the band, lol.



We'll be at DW on Easter. I always put money in the kid's Easter eggs so this year I'll be putting the Disney Dollars in their eggs!

I got about $100 worth in different denominations (10, 5 and 1). I was told that when you purchase something with them the cashier gives you change back in real money. I'm not really worried about us not using them. If we don't use them we can always save them for the Disney Store! I hear that several Disney Stores are closing

When our daughter was small, she lost a tooth the day before we were going to DisneyWorld, so we had some Disney Dollars, and the tooth fairy put them under her pillow at our resort. The toothfairy was being helped by Tinkerbell, or so the note said. Was my daughter surprised and exciting! It was so much fun. They are a great idea!!

I was thinking of doing both the dollars and a gift card. My daughter is only 2 so i would give her the money. A few dollars here and there so she can feel big. My son is 9 and loves gift cards. I think it makes him feel all important to have a credit card. LOL!!!

We get our disney dollars at our local disney store. we had a trip planned for over 6 months, so our boys got disney dollars for gifts and holidays. they had plenty of sovenier money to spend during our week. it worked out GREAT!!
