Disney Dollars with a Credit Card

Has anyone here purchased disney dollars with a credit card from their local Disney Store? If you have did your credit card company charge you as a cash advance or was it purchased as just another item in the store.

It's just an item in the store. No cash advance. You can only use them on Disey Properties (Resorts, parks, DCL, DL, etc)

I'm going back to WDW in January and I wanted to get some for my daughter. She's 4 and loves to use them. I just got the Disney Rewards Visa and was hoping while I was getting "the disney gear" I could pick up a few dollars each time I went.

How fun for you and your little girl. I really love seeing the kids using their special money at the big stores in DTD.

I've been reading for a few weeks. My Mother-In-Law...or I think I should say DMIL? I'm not really into the little things of this site. She does most of that. There really is ALMOST too much to take in here.

I'm trying to use then DD's as a form of reward for the little one. She uses them when ever we go to the Disney store in our local Mall.

I use the DDs as allowance payments for my DKs. Very effective at keeping them doing their chores..it seems that the closer we get to a Disney trip the more they make sure they are keeping up with all the chores
