Are Disney Dollars accepted at the HH gift shop?

I am positive that you can use your DD at the gift shop. When I checked in at HH I gave my credit card for incidentals but asked <b><i>not</b></i> to be put on express check out. On our last day I went and paid my bill with Disney Dollars.

Does anyone know if you can BUY Disney Dollars in Hilton Head, in the gift shop maybe? And if you can by Disney Park passes there? Our Disney Store closed here in Savannah and HH is only about 45 minutes away. Just wondering.

You can buy disney park passes at the HH front desk. Not sure about disney dollars though. We just got back and had a wonderful time. HH resort has really improved their CM rec staff since our trip last year. Lots of refurbishment since last year too, couch cushions reupholstered, better fabric (same pattern), counter edge completely replaced. Also, they're 80% sold out and projecting early next year to be completely sold out. We love it there and have been going since 1997 and it just keeps getting better and better.
