Disney Dollars at DTD?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, but it seemed most likely, lol!

My kids will have Disney Dollars for our trip and my ds wants to shop at the Lego store at DTD. Do they, and the other shops there, accept DD in payment or will we need to have cash for Lego/other purchases?

All of the stores on disney property take D$'s...so yes, they do. It wouldn't be a problem if they didn't, your children could cash them in at Guest Relations or the lobby in the Disney Hotels for cash!

We've used disney dollars almost every where. The only place we couldn't use them was at the race track. My DH went on a ride along and we wanted to purchase the picture that they took while he was in the car. We had to pay cash. Every where else we have used them. We actually purchase disney dollars all year long and that is how we save for our spending mony for our trips. My MIL goes to the disney store every Friday and buys her dollars. She travels with us. We are saving for our trip to the world in December.
