Disney doesn't know their own prices?

Called to make reservations for Cape May dinner, and was told price of $26. We were there last June and paid $32 or close, so I started checking all of the websites to see what current price really was. I have found everything from 26-38$. One site even gave two different prices on the same page. Going in early May, so not a holiday rate. Shouldn't the people taking the reservations be notified of price updates? The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that it isn't the price Disney gave me.

They know their prices. They are expensive, and more expensive!

Well, the price you state from June of last year would have had the holiday surcharge on it, because all of June is in the "holiday" time frame. And $26 plus tax for non-holiday meal may actually be about right.

As for the website prices -- what websites are you checking...if it's allears.net and wdwinfo.com, then don't count on them being correct either. They are not official Disney sites...they get their info from volunteers submitting stuff. We have found these fan websites to basically be unreliable for exact information like prices and specifically what's actually on the menu right now. Often they will say they've been updated recently but will have ridiculously outdated info. For example, last week allears.net 'Ohana menu said it was updated 3/2009 but they list that 'Ohana's dinner has cheese potatoes...those were taken off the menu more than a year ago and replaced with a noodle dish.

We use those menus just to get a general idea of what prices & items might be expected to be-- approximately.
