Disney Direct??

Don't know if this has been discussed before or not but was Disney.com sold or just the name changed? I work for a catalog company owned by a company with "Direct" in the name and wondered if the two could be related.

The Disney catalog has not been sold, only the brick and mortar stores were. The catalog changed their name to better reflect their focus ie: Disney Direct to the consumer. If the rumors are correct, the Disney Store, operated by Hoop Retail (owners of The Children's Place) will be coming out with a 'disney.com' retail site sometime in late 2005.
