You know that service where they take your luggage from you on the train and you get your park tickets on the train? I can't remember what it's called - Disney Express? Direct Express? Anyway, I booked a hotel/direct Eurostar package directly with DLP. I didn't ask for the Disney Express specifically but when I called back to check if I had it, the guy said that it was booked automatically - but he seemed a bit unsure of this and I'm not sure whether to trust his word or to phone back and check again! Does anybody know if they *do* book this automatically for you? Thanks!

If you have booked direct with DLRP and had transport via Eurostar added to your package then yes it is done automaticaly as the Disney Express service it is included in the cost of the train fare.

But if you are like me and worry over the slightest little thing, it won't hurt to give them a quick ring and double check to make sure it has been included. After I have made my bookings, I always ask them to read back everything so I can double check that I have booked everything I wanted and to check Extra Magic Hours etc.

The Express service isn't automatically included in the booking! You need to call DLRP booking line and add it to your booking. Eurostar has nothing to do with this.

HTH

thanks, both of you - so one member says it is and the other says it isn't - any advance on that from anyone else?! I will call them again....

I'm only saying no because we had to add it to our booking. we've used the service twice so far and we'll be adding it to our booking for december. I remember for our trip in april we paid £28 extra for the service and got a separate email from disney with the express service added to our booking.

hth but maybe other people could tell you more.

I've just had a 'play around' with dates on DLP's website and booked transport as well from DLP's website and it would seem that Disney Express is included with the package. It does say so on the screen where it tells you the time of the train etc.

I think if you book the train separately with Eurostar yourself, then you'd have to pay extra for the Disney Express service.

Yes that's it, if you book the Direct service through Disney, its included, if you book it through Eurostar, you need to phone Disney and add it.

ema74, did you book directly with Eurostar?

I'm really anxious to make sure that we get it because a few years ago we booked with Eurostar separately, not realising you could book travel through the DLRP website, and it was so annoying having to go to the hotel whilst everyone else went straight to the park!

i rang dlp direct to book for january 2009 which included transportation and am going from ashford kent. i did ask for the disney direct service as i found it brilliant. on my confirmation email from disney on the train times it says disney direct service, if you've got that on your email then you are ok :goodvibes

in jan this year we had booked with disney direct and had the express service included, but in jan 07 i had booked through an online operator and didnt get it. so i would say if you book direct with disney then the express service is included and you can go straight to the parks, only bug bear mind is when you get back to your hotel like we did we had to have the 7am breakfast as all the other times for the following day had gone!!! not that we minded xx

We booked the hotel/passes through Disney and Eurostar separately. It just wasn't coming up on the screen altogether... Shame as we could have saved the £28 spent on the Express service and spent them in the park. The same goes for our trip in Dec but lesson learnt for next time ;)
