Does anyone know how the adult costume sizes run? My daughter has decided that she wants to be Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and I'm not sure if she'd drown in the small. She's about 57 inches tall. Thanks!

57" is rather petite for an adult female. Chances are pretty good that an adult small will be too big on her. The measurements that the DisneyShopping.com website gives for a Misses small are:
  • Misses Size: 6/8
  • Bust: 34-35 in
  • Waist: 26-27 in
  • Hips: 36 1/2 - 37 1/2 in
No listing for height.
Maybe you could order the costume and wig but buy white leggings in her size. Use fabric paint to make the stitches on the legs. If the dress is too long, just cut off the excess at the hem. It's not supposed to look "finished" any way, so you wouldn't need to hem it.

That is a really good idea. I know from past experience that some of their kids clothing tends to run on the small side so I was hoping that the same would hold true for adult sizes as well. But like you said I could always just alter it a bit and it would be fine. Thanks for the advice! :)

We just got our Sally costume through DD last night....

My DD, age 12 is about 66 " though.....

I bought a XXL (because like you can see, she's a big kid)....

I was afraid of them running small but I think they actually might be a little big....

The leggings and top of dress are actually a light blue (not white) but you could hem dress.....

The wig is very cheaply made and made more for a child sized head than a teen or adult....(but what can you expect for $6)

I am 59.5 inches and I have an adult small pooh costume (just got it earlier this month). I am about 120 lbs (can't kick the extra weight from having my baby). The legs are a little long but being that it is pooh and it has elastic at the bottom, it works out. The arms are fine and everything else is fine. But then again it isn't a form fitting costume. I don't know what the Sally one looks like but if the legs aren't full length or look easily hem-able go for it.
