can i order the dinning dinning plan thru member services at any time before i arrive at disney i booked my dvc trip 4 months ago and i will be going there on the 18 of july ?

I believe it has to be reserved at least 2 days before.

Officially member services says it has to be reserved three days ahead however the only reason they do that is to allow them time to get it completed. The reality is that you can generally order at to any time prior to arrival. I would not try to do that on Saturday for a Sunday visit I would not try for the same day arrival. Other than that you should be OK.

Call today or Monday for the 18th. You'll pay when you check in. No prepayment for the Dining Plan.

By the way, Greg, the old school teacher in me is coming out. It's dining, not dinning. Sorry, just a bad habit.

No free dining with DVC unless you book your reservation through Disney not MS and purchase a package (rack rate room, tickets for all, etc). Free dining is just a way to get the rooms filled at WDW during slower times. DVC doesn't really have slower times any more and has no problems filling rooms.
