Disney Dinning Questions

Can anyone please explain to me how this dinning plan is suppose to work?
I have seen very little written about it and would like to know what it will and will not include. And is it really worth it?

my family just returned from disney and used the dining plan(myself34 and twins boys12) it includes a counter service(entree, dessert and drink) a table service( app, entree, dessert and drink) and one snack a day( many choices here) we found that it was a great deal and even had left over meals and snacks at end that we used to buy mickey rice crispies for souvinears for friends. it is worth it if you want to eat at table service rest. it is alot of food but you dont feel like you have to eat all of it, at least we didn't which left us with 5 cs meals on last day. we used them for items that we could take on the trip home. we saved about 500.00 using the plan than if we would have bought the same food on our own. spent about 150 out of pocket on snacks and meals that were extra. did not have to do this but we did. if you have any further questions feel free to email me cleeanderson30@hotmail.com
