Just curious what you would pick for a dinner show: Hoop Dee Doo Revue or Spirit of Aloha? Please consider we have done HDDR once before (and LOVED it - not opposed to seeing it again!) And, as of now, only plan on doing one dinner show. It will be me, DH, and DS5 in May 2019 so Mickeys BBQ will no longer be there. We will also be planning the dinner show for a non park day so not worried about time or location.

I don't think there is any comparison between SOA and HDDR, I would pick HDDR every time. We have seen the show nearly every trip, so probably 7/8 times, and plan to go again our next trip.

We have seen SOA a few times as well, but only when staying a the Poly. I don't think we will see this one again unless they update the show.

I voted for SOA only because you've never done it. It is absolutely worth doing at least once, even though we do prefer HDD.

However, you didn't say how long ago you did HDD. Does DS remember it? If not, I might change my vote, as both would be new to him.

We went in October 2017, so a couple months before he turned 4. He says he remembers it, we have a couple videos that we watch from time to time. We loved the show and hanging out at FW so leaning towards HDDR again!

Either way you'll have a great time.

One other thought, depending on the timing of the two shows, it may be possible to see HEA from Poly after SOA.

Also, again depending on timing, both SOA and HDD could allow for seeing the electric water pageant afterwards.

I would def do HDD. We went to SOA once when DD was 6 and she was bored, hot, and she didn’t like the food. So we actually left early. On the other hand, we do HDD every time.
