We just gor back from Disney. I need some information. On this trip we ate dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Priincess breakfast at Akerhaus, and dinner ar Prime Time CAfe. If we go back again what restaurants or character meals should we try. I am open to any opinions people has to give me.

We love:

WCC
O'Hana's (both breakfast and dinner)
Sci Fi
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
Crystal Palace (Pooh Characters)
LTT
CRT (even my son loved the dinner with the Fairy Godmother)
Coral Reef

We love

Calif. Grill
Sci Fi
'Ohanas
Kona Cafe
Chef Mickey's Charac. Bkfast
Prime Time
Teppan Edo
Tusker House Charac. Bkfast
Akerhaus for Charac. Bkfast

The only really bad experience was San Angel Inn and we eat at Rose & Crown but it wasn't the best food.

If you'd like to try a more relaxed character meal, I can highly recommend the Garden Grove in the Swan Hotel. During the week at Dinner the characters (when we were there in Jan/Feb 08) were Timon and Rafiki....and because it was so UNcrowded they not only came around a half dozen times, but they took the time to really interact with the kids for not just a minute or two, but through my DH eating a full plate of salad, lol.....we joked about that because he had to worm his way to his seat around Rafiki and finished and got up to get his main course which kinda caused Rafiki to leave. On the weekend it was Chip & Dale at breakfast only.

One thing you should know.....Dining Plan is NOT accepted here....but there is a AAA discount if you have that card. Also, you have to call the Swan hotel and ask to be connected to the restaurant to make reservations, as Disney Dining will tell you they don't take reservations when the truth is DISNEY doesn't make the reservations, but the restaurant does. But, we found that it wasn't really necessary.

It was both buffet style and ala carte. The buffet was really quite good for a bufett, and unusual choices not the typical Disney buffet. They also had the ala carte menu with the higher value items, steak, and some high dollar fish.....but the buffet one night is all seafood (the menu rotates each day) so I'm not sure what the ala carte is that night.
