Disney Dining

I would like to know if you think the Disney Dining plans would be helpful to large families?

We are a family of six and i say YES!! we have saved alot of money using the dining plan. we have used it three times and have bought it again for our upcoming trip in April.

It can be. Basically I think the more children under 10 you have, the better a deal it is.

And if you want to have one table service meal per day, and if you're not at a buffet, you would normally order an entree plus dessert at every meal (table and counter). Some don't want to commit to meal reservations every day. Of course, next year there is a counter service plan which will take care of that.

That's for the basic plan - if you want more than one TS meal every day it's time to check out the deluxe.

We only had four with us when we did the DP. It was great. We ate breakfast in the unit for all but one time. It was at the Mayan Grill for their buffet. We really liked it even though it was a little heavy for breakfast. We drive to WDW so we took some food for the trip and also bought some at WM. The two teens preferred the CS mostly so we traded CS for TS with them. We actually forgot to use all of our snacks so we had to use a lot at once. I do wish more places used a snack credit for flavored coffees. There was one place that did, but I don't even remember where it was.

To us, it was worth it to know the girls could eat whenever and wherever they wanted that honored the DP and we got to try rest. that I would have been cautious about trying because of cost.
