I was just wondering where you all buy your vouchers from for Disney Character meals. I know flight Center and Getawaytoday sell them. Any other options?
Mystic Path, most people do not purchase the meal vouchers, we purchase gift cards instead. This works much better than the vouchers, plus, gift cards can be used at the Disney Web site! (To book another trip, to buy stuff, or you can save for the next visit).
I was planning on purchasing Goofy Kitchen charachter dining vouchers from ARES travel or GetAway or maybe Lastminute Travel. What is the benefit from buying giftcards instead? I thought I could save a little $ with meal vouchers.

Thanks for the heads up, but I am not big on gift cards. I just pay cash, and if I pay cash I want to save some money. Ive been looking into vouchers for a meal (For adults) and have been told by my local travel agent (Flight Center) that they can save a few dollars. I wanted to know what other agents are selling their vouchers for, and who may have the best deal. Cause Ares travel sells Vouchers for Goofy's Dinner for $38 per person, but there is a $2.00 per person processing fee. Getawaytoday sells them for $38 and there isnt a processing fee, and Flight Center sells them for $40.00 with no processing fee. All these prices do include taxes and gratuities. That's 3 different options.
If you went into Goofy's for a dinner without a voucher, you will be paying around $45 per person before taxes and tip. I just wanted to find out who people book their vouchers through just for future knowledge. Even to help other Disboarders who may ask the same question.
I've been pulling my hair put trying to get real prices for these character meals - did you get this from a CM? All the websites I've seen list different prices.

Yah I called Disney Dining a week ago and if I remember correctly it was $43 per adult and around $24 per child. This may have changed. I should call up and reconfirm. Also note this is for the first week of June, so I dunno if they change prices for peak season to off season. But I would still imagine vouchers would give you a better deal either way.
I use both Character Meal vouchers *not the Disney Dining Plan Vouchers* and Disney Gift Cards *I look at both of these as prepaying. Earlier this month my grocery store had a good deal on Disney GCs *see here ~ http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2432719, I had just gotten my tax return so I purchased a bunch of DGCs, paid for my kids Easter with the $5 vouchers and have lots of .5 gas rewards.
I purchase voucers from ARES, GAT ~ I've purchased our PHs for July from LMT and I'll probably get some vouchers from them, just waiting to hear more reports on how their experience was with the LMT vouchers.

The prices I was quoted when I made my ressies for May 15 and May 19 are
Goofys dinner $31.99 (Adult) 13.99 (child)
Ariles lunch $32.99 (adult) 18.99 (child)
tax and gratuity not included

I have been trying to figure out these vouchers as well. I was quoted $33.99 (adults) $17.99 (kids) on our May 14th res. for Ariels Grotto. I assume, either way the vouchers will save a few dollars per person. You just have to make sure you allow time to exchange your printed voucher for the real tickets when you get to the parks IIRC. I've never used these before and hope we don't have any problems, we have a big group.
I'm also in the "voucher decision vortex", so I asked the CM on the dining line for the summer prices on a few of the character dining experiences this morning, which can be found on this thread:
