Hi everyone! I wasn't sure where to post this but this will be my first time booking dining reservations at the 180 day mark which will be tomorrow morning (4/27/19). Should I call or try to book online? I live on the West coast so I'm guessing I should be ready at 3 am, correct? Any tips?

We will be on the dining plan for five nights. I realize that Yachtsman's Steakhouse takes two credits so we will be paying OOP for T-Rex.

Our choices aren't really that hard to get I don't think. This is a first visit for my son, wife and 2 daughters and repeat trip for me and my other two sons so there will be 7 of us. Our choices so far are Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Teppan Edo, Ohana's for breakfast, T-Rex and Ragland Road. We decided to do Be Our Guest for breakfast to use a Quick Service credit. My granddaughters didn't really want to do a character meal which surprised me but my 32 year old chose Ohana's as he is a huge Stitch fan :stitch2: My son and youngest daughter (5) chose Ragland Road as they are super into their Irish heritage and his wife and older daughter (8) chose T-Rex (dinosaur fans).

Thanks!

I did online from the UK and all went to plan. I think I had it open on my phone and laptop, i found that if I didn’t select a time and just selected dinner then it just gave me three options rather than the specific time I was looking for so if you want 7pm the select that rather than dinner and if they don’t have it it will sho w you the nearest alternatives.

I didn’t expect that so I hope it’s helpful :)

Thanks! I was wondering whether to select a specific time but like your idea of selecting dinner and giving me whatever is open.

I see that you will be visiting WDW for your first visit and staying at the Boardwalk. Welcome! So excited for you! We've stayed at the Boardwalk four times with our last visit in 2009. We love it there :lovestruc We decided to try the Yacht Club for a change of scenery and to try Stormalong Bay. Have fun!

You want to do it online for several reasons. Several of you can all book at the same time.
If you call, it opens at 7 am EST. If you go online, it opens at 6 am EST, so online gives you an hour headstart.
Depending on where you want to eat, that hour could be improtant.
Good luck!

Thank you! I think I'll do it online. I made reservations online for our last trip in 2009 but we didn't make them until a month before our trip so this is all new to me booking 180 days ahead.

I got the dining reservations I was hoping for online at 3 am but now I'm trying to book a couple of more reservations, I can't go past the date of 10/24 (our stay is between 10/24-10/29/19). Does anyone know why I can't even select a date after 10/24? Thanks!
