Disney Dining Plan ?

Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for a while and now I have a question I was hoping someone could answer.

We are going in July and are using the Dining Plan. We have 3 kids that would be required to order off the kids menu. Do they still get an appetizer and dessert with there kids meal or just the kids meal and nothing else.

It's a little confusing. To me at least.

We just got back last week and had a great time but ate an aweful lot!! In answer to your question, the kids did get an appetizer and dessert at most meals. Occasionally there weren't any listed and we didn't press the issue, too much food anyway but all of our waitresses/waiters were very nice and probably would have worked something out. I really think that the cost for the kids is a great deal. Overall, it was not a difficult plan to deal with. I liked the ease of having it all taken care of before hand and all the CM's seemed to know how it worked by this point, we had no problems at all.

Thank you very much for the reply. The kids probably won't want an appetizer, but I know for sure they'll want the dessert.

I'm glad to hear that the CMs are up with the plan. Makes things a whole lot easier.
